Depending on where fins pick (5-10), i think it would be great to take him in rd 2 if Leinhart or Quinn notthere in rd 1.

Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
Much like his four-year career at Vanderbilt, Cutler's senior season has been a roller coaster. He got the Commodores off to a fast start but a midseason swoon took the program out of bowl contention and saw Cutler's NFL draft stock hit the skids. While Saturday's victory at Tennessee makes Vandy one game shy of bowl eligibility, it did snap a 22-game losing streak to the Volunteers. It also served as a momentum builder in NFL scouts' eyes in what was a strong three-game finish by Cutler versus Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee. If Cutler works some magic in postseason workouts and an all-star game, he could emerge as a second-round draft pick in 2006

Good, D'Brick in the first and Cutler in the second.

If Quinn and/or Young don't declare Cutler is gonna be a 1st rd pick. He may be a 2nd rd talent, but someone will take him in the 1st because the lack of quality talent behind Leinart.

I think whoever we draft will be good for us..Jimmy Williams, D-Brickashaw, A.J Hawk, Leinart, any one of those will be fine for me

D Brick is a myth that draft frauds are clinging to for some weird reason. It isn't 2004 anymore, Ferguson isn't a top 5 guy anymore. He should have come out last year.

Get over D brick. It isnt happening. Watch the defense on a weekly basis and tell me they need a 289lb LT who isn't playing as well as he did last year.

The thing about Cutler is that his stock will rise and there are several teams like NY, Balt, AZ, etc who will pick before or around us. We might have to trade down with the 1st pick if Cutler is the guy they want to ensure that we get him.

If Quinn and Young stay out, then Cutler will move well into the first Round.

im starting to think the fins should trade some players for picks, maybe another 2nd rounder, to get a good LT, QB, and outside LB

He will definitley be a top 15 pick after the combine and Senior bowl if Quinn and Young don't declare.

It's too bad you don't actually watch D brick play. If you did, you wouldn't make these statements. Ferguson is still a franchise tackle. He's going in the top 5.

Agree. I have a feeling he'll sneak into the first round.
