Scout's take: All eyes on VY

Um how does Vince Young have anything to do with the Dolphins? I dont see why your posting stuff over and over and over about him.

If I had my way Miami would have TWO big FA signings this year. V Young to compete ONLY if he does not cost a Draft pick higher than a 4th. Ideally no draft picks required… And Reggie Bush

Im posting stuff about all the QBs who could possibly land in Miami, relax and be glad you got something to read about during these slow times.

The cons certainly outweigh the pros. When you draft Jake Locker to replace Vince Young that's a pretty damning statement if there ever was one.

Somebody will give him a shot, why not Miami If the cost is not steep? We are still not sure about our QB.

VY can compete and beat the crap out of all the Qbs we've had together since Marino retired, the issue here is, can he behave???

Vince is an intriguing option, and I think if Miami does sign him, the thought going into this season is that Henne will be starting. Who knows, maybe Young could be the Dolphins version of the Eagles signing Vick. Maybe not, but he wouldn't be a horrible signing.

This topic is worthy of a thread. It's new analysis (video no less) about a pending free agent that could become a Miami Dolphin. That's totally worthy of a thread. I think it's nit picky to criticize this thread.

However, that other thread before with the title that the Dolphins are pursuing Vince Young, featuring a link to a blog post at some internet rag who basically just re-told (inaccurately) a news item that real media members had already mentioned and had been discussed...THAT was not worthy of a thread. That was just plain ridiculous. I can't imagine myself ever clicking the button that starts that thread, with that title, featuring that link, and respecting what I'm doing. Just my honest opinion.

honestly, I don't see why we wouldn't give him an offer if he ends up a FA. The only thing that would turn me off is if all the teams still looking for a QB start a bidding war and Vince starts getting expensive.

It wouldn't be the first time we thought teams would stay away and then all of a sudden there are 10 teams bidding against each other.

if you watched the vidoe when they showed the cons on vy, one of his problems is not being able to read a defense. what the hell are we going to do with him when we play the jets and NE. the 2 teams we are chasing have head coachs who have big reps as defensive coachs. if we cant beat those 2 teams we cant make the playoffs and we will be stuck in the middle of the pack for a long time.

Lol. Signing overrated clowns don't count as big signings.

If these brainiacs running the regime are legitimately interested in "The Wonderlic6, " it would be my fervent hope that they get preempted and/or out-hustled by even more quarterback-hungry, clueless, and actionable regimes - again screwing up as they did by leisurely waiting to cobble a trade up for Mallett .

We will be a team looking to run first and pass second. Vince Young would be a very nice fit here. However they need to make sure he isn't causing a raucous in Miami's nightlife scene. Good fit on the field, not so sure of the fit off the field.
