I think screen passes to the RB's and dump off's to Bess are going to be huge this weekend. This is going to be the best way to take advantage of the Jests aggresive approach. Quick dump off's are exactly what Henne needs to get comfortable, and we have RB's and slot receivers with great hands and ability to make people miss after the catch.

I think Bess will have to recognize the blitz, as well as Ginn and Camarillo. They need to get their heads around if their guy goes on a blitz. If they can do that and Henne can deliver the ball, look for some big plays on Monday.

One good thing is that our guys will have a whole week together to prepare for recognizing the blitzes and reacting properly. With Henne taking over, these guys need as much time to develop chemistry as possible.

I think screen passes to leon washington will be huge too, for the Jets.. We have never been able to defend the screen, ever

The short passes absolutely ate up the Jets D against the Saints. They started off the game not pressuring Brees much and dropping back into coverage. He patiently ate them up with short checkdowns, screens, etc. The runs also gained good yardage as change of pace...especially when the Jets weren't expecting them (e.g. 2nd and 14).

I agree - Bess and short passes to the RBs are going to be huge, especially early in the game. We need to establish that there will be consequences for sending the blitz.

I also expect to see a few WR reverses - worked well for the Saints.

We cant defend the screen cuz of this piss poor tackling. C'mon guys, you play defense. That is what your paid to do. Sparano needs to start letting a lot more contact in practice, this is getting embarrasing.

Brees didn't even pass for 200 yards. The Jets played a lot more coverage against the Saints because Brees is so good against the blitz. They won't be sitting back in coverage against the fins.

yeah the saints really "ate up" the jets defense....:rolleyes2:

to the tune of only being able to score 10 points.

I agree...LW is going to have a huge game because we have Safeties that can't tackle.
