That deep pass where sean smith is covering rodgers was one of his typical plays. He over runs himself out of the play, receiver out muscles him, don't miss him one bit

except Vontae is clearly playing hurt... he had the best year of his career this year, albeit it's because he is a free agent this off-season
1) Vontae was one of PFF's top rated CB's this season.
2) I think you're missing the bigger picture.

I don't miss VD, did ok here and this year but makes some bonehead decisions and gets burned too much for my taste.

Can can believe that if you want. But, if you actually watched Vontae play this season it was obvious he was not a Top Rated CB's.
So let me guess, you've broken down Colt game film all season long? You might want to consider putting a resume in to PFF then.

Vontae has been playing hurt since Denver. He got healthy after the Ari game IIRC but re injured his groin against Jax in the finale. If there is one thing a CB does not want to injure it's anything that is attached to his leg. Groin injuries hinder speed, cutting, and stopping abilities which is why he started off the KC game bad. After that face mask penalty he balled out though.
