I think tomorrows game is a real season and team-defining game! Our phins have already took care of the bulk of their difficult games this season, and tomorrow will be on of the last tuff ones. Super hostile environment (in-com-plete), and i expect it to be a grinder. If the dolphins db's can show up like they did against teams during our 3 victories and not during the jets or arizona games i feel great. 4-4 would be huge, and give them all the confidence in the world. cant wait. go dolphins!

If we win tomorrow, we are a legitimate playoff threat, with an easy schedule ahead of us.

If we lose, we can start evaluating some young guys. The coaches will not until we are mathematically out of it, but I would.

I wouldn't. After Denver, we get three straight home games against the Seahawks, Raiders and Patriots. We have some very "winnable" games coming up here. You can't throw the towel after Week 9.

i cant shake the typical dolphins vibe im feeling from the team this year. As soon as i start believing in them, they fail on me. When that stops happening (ie: the ravens game) then i'll start believing again.

Don't forget we still have the 9ers, Chiefs and Rams still on the slate too.

Playoffs potentially? I'd like to think so.

I'm psyched for tomorrow.

imo the ravens game was the one where i felt like had we won we could have been contenders. instead we were timid it looked and were hit in the mouth.

get a win tomorrow and i think we got a shot in the 2nd half but this far this team wins the games we're not supposed to and loses the games we should win.

if we win 2maro....We all must Respect The Code.

Did we ever arrive at a consensus at what the code was?

Or did you just have the urge to go with it, here at zero hour Rocky Mountain time? :baxter:

A victory today would be great, but my expectations are never higher than I can tolerate the opposite would happen.

All subsequent games, should be taken with small step at a time.
The biggest mistake you can make is to underestimate opponents. Therefore, I see all matches logically as a possible defeat. We need to be physically and mentally ready in every game before we even can talk playoff.

The match today will tell much about the further continuation of this year's tournament.

There are NO easy games in the NFL. It's funny to read post after post that we will have played the "tough" part of the schedule after today. Remember it's those "easy" games that our fish like to flounder in!

NO EASY GAMES! :) But, with that being said...I think we are a playoff team!!!

It's certainly a must win game if this team has any playoff aspirations. However i still think we hurt ourselves too much with close losses to Houston and the Jets, also to a very beatable Ravens team.

Great point. The worst thing any team can do is overlook someone. Get a fw wins, get too confident and then the 49ers beat you. Don't think that'll happen with these guys though, last year is too fresh in their minds. They're out for respect.

This game may well be the defining game of the season. A win here and we are still in the thick of things! I am not a game prophet. I don't really ever predict records. I like winning and hate losing (I also like it when the Jets lose), but when half the conference is either 3-4 or 4-3 and we have a chance to even things up and get back to .500 it does get me excited.

We got smoked up in Denver without Tim Bowens a few years back and we got smoked two weeks ago against Baltimore without Ferguson. Depth has always been our problem and it is to this day.
