Who do you guys think is a better bet at starting QB for the opening game against the Steelers? If Daunte is 100% ready then it's a no-brainer, but what if he's only at say 80%...would he give us the best chance to win? Or would Harrington?

Its not who the best player is, its what chance there is of re-injury. I'd take a hobbling Daunte over Harrington anyday, but Daunte wasnt traded for to be the opening day starter. He was brought in to be the franchise QB for the next 5+ yrs.

TRUE..^ I dont really like our chances too much if Harrington starts against Pittsburg.... :(

6 months is plenty of time to re-hab a gimpy knee...he will be ready.

Culpepp better be ready harrington plays like a school girl, if daunte isnt a 100% i say start Cleo!

Harrington is a school girl, yes...but I'd NEVER EVER EVER:shakeno: Start CLEO..:o
Pray for CUlpepper

Here's hoping that Harrington starts, due to Culpepper's injury, and plays so well that he never looks back. I know everyone here is in love with Culpepper, but how amazing would it be to have Harrington start and play so "lights-out" that Culpepper is forced to take a back seat. Now that, sir, would be amazing...

so your sayn you want a whining school girl at QB instead of the wrecking ball Daunte is??? and to BringBackShula first of all i agree wit the name but at the same time couldnt let nick go and yeah im preyn for Daunte I'd just take Cleo over harrington any day I don't think people realize the kid is pretty darn good

Just trust daunte guys, he said he will be ready. I think he's the best source. I really do feel that he will be the guy under center against the Steelers.

Wouldn't we need to sign Harrington first, I know it looks like he is coming our way, but what if he's not...

Well, I guess he wouldn't be starting against the Steelers in Week 1... :D
