1. B.J.Raji NT(6'1" 329)
Massive NT from Boston College. Ferguson is getting long in the tooth and outside of Soliai, who is nothing more than a backup, we have nothing.

2a. George Selvie OLB(6'4" 242)/Connor Barwin OLB(6'4" 252)
Selvie is an excellent pass rusher. He is explosive. He has great athleticism and is comfortable dropping into coverage. If Selvie is not available, then I go with Barwin. Barwin is another outstanding pass rusher. Barwin is a former BB player that didn't start playing football at TE till his Junior year. This year he was switched to DE and he recorded 47tkls, 12.5tkls. for loss with 10 sacks this season. He has an excellent first step and has a powerful bull rush. His BB prowess has given him fluidity in the hips and is has great instincts dropping into coverage.
2b. Jonathan Luigs C (6'4"314)
The 2007 Rimington Trophy award winner as the nation’s top center and a consensus All-American. Comfortable with the quarterback both under center and in shotgun. Able to handle even the biggest DTs. Luigs would allow us to move Satele to RG, a position he is better suited. Hopefully, with a healthy Donald Thomas back, we would not only have excellent talent, but great depth as well on the O-Line.

3. Dominique Johnson CB(6'1"190)
While he is not the prospect that Dominique-Rogers Cromartie was, he is not far behind. He possess excellent ball skills and speed running a 4.39/40. He is a former Missouri Tiger and finished his senior campaign with 4 ints.

4. Tim Tebow QB (6'3" 235)
Before you call me a homer, hear me out. Currently we have RB being the primary ball handler out of the Wildcat. This limits the effectiveness of this formation. If we are going to use this as a part of overall offensive scheme, we need someone that can threaten the defense with the pass as well as the run - Tebow can do this. He is already comfortable with this offense and can take the primary QB off the feild to negate the risk of him getting hurt. Plus if he is still available and we take him in the 4th, there is very little impact to the overall draft if he doesn't workout. Besides what is the % of 4th rd. that make NFL rosters, around 15%?

5. Jasper Brinkley ILB(6'2" 275)
During his Junior year, he had a pretty bad knee injury and that is why I think he falls this far. He plays fast for a man of his size(4.6/40). He has the speed to run sideline to sideline. He is proverbial wall in the middle against the run. I have my doubts he will be there when we pick, but if he is we would be foolish not to take him.

7a. Patrick Turner WR(6'5" 220)
Second to Fred Davis in recieving yards in '07. He had 48rec./569yds. and 3 TDs in '07. He had 49rec./741yds. and 10 TDs in '08. He is a big reciever from USC, hopefully he can turn out better than Mike Williams.:D
7b. C.J. Spillman S(6'0" 193)
Senior safety and prolific tackler at Marshall. If nothing else he would be a ST contributor.
7c. Jeremy Perry OG(6'2" 329)
All-Pac 10 in 2006 at OSU. Had a leg injury in 2007 that sidelined him for much of the '08 season too. He is a project, but if he can comeback we will have a pretty good football player.

no way Tebow lasts out of the 2nd round. would i take him before the 4th..no. BUT theres no way he lasts out of the 2nd. someone WILL drink the koolaid

If our drat fell that way I would jump up and down and scream and yell. Really couldn't do better than that. Young NT, Good pass rushing OLB, New Center who's big. Add a young big QB who could be our Wildcat perfromer and also doesn't hurt to have more than one young QB.Get a big young receiver and a young DB.

If Atl picks before us (Not sure how tiebreaker works in this case) Raji most likely won't be there. Do I think Selvie drops, no. not that far, naybe but probably not. I don't know if the Luigs drops to our 2B selection, I hope he does. Tebow most likely drop to the fourth but you never know, I love your idea there.

Great draft for us. I can only hope it goes that well.

I don't agree. I've watched the draft since it first aired on ESPN and every year you see players with all the accolades fall like a rock in the draft. I love Tim, but his release is way too slow and he does not trust his pre-snap reads. Most of the time he makes a decision as the play unfolds.

As a Gator fan I'm going to trust you on what you see. If he last til the 4th I really wouldn't mind grabbing him for the wildcat and grooming unless someone of more value or better need wa there.

2a. George Selvie OLB(6'4" 242)/Mark Herzlich OLB(6'3" 240)
Selvie is an excellent pass rusher. He is explosive. He has great athleticism and is comfortable dropping into coverage. If Selvie is not available, then I go with Herzlich. Herzlich another outstanding pass rusher. Herzlich has a high football I.Q. and plays within the defensive scheme while creating havoc in the offensive backfield. Does not have the coverage ability of Selvie, but does have the size and speed to stay with the TE.

I like your mock but I'd do mine alittle different.....

After signing a C like J.Brown or a veteran M.Birk, then D.Robinson/B.McFadden CB and last but not least A.Oshiomogho FS. All these guys would be well paid but not outragous contracts (meaning I think it's actually possible to sign them). I'm also assuming VC does not get re-signed.

1. Duke Robinson G - A great prospect at Guard to shore up the interior of the Oline.

2. P.Loadholt RT - A mountain of a man to Grade some roads for R&R

2. D.Johnson CB - I think after the combine his draft stock goes up.

3. J.Brinkley ILB - Another mountain of a man to help CC in the middle.

4. D.Scott NT - Depth at NT and can learn from Ferguson for a year or two.

I realize we still need help at OLB and possibly WR but you can't solve all our problems in one offseason.

I think the 3rd is too high to get Brinkley. You have to wait until at least the 4th to pull the trigger. I like Dorrell Scott, but I think the NT positon is so key in our defense that you have to take someone that is as close to can not miss as possible.

It only takes a decent Combine for people to believe he's back to the form he displayed before his injury.

I also agree with you about NT but I think there will be some real talented guys available in the mid rounds. Taylor, Ohgobaase, Brace etc...

patrick turners size alone will get him drafted in the top 4 rounds. And Jasper Brinkly will go before the 5th.

Mark Herzlich OLB(6'3" 240)

said he is returning to school.

With Pennington and Henne we don't need another QB. I don't see us going for one in this draft at all.

Last I heard, Kiper has Tebow as his #2 TE were he to comeout. So the 3rd/4th round seems reasonable IMO.

Using Tebow like the Redskins use Cooley would be good. It would add major kick *** wrinkles to the wildcat.... imagine Tim & Ronnie the backfield.
