What's going on everyone?
Tonight is the first episode of The Extra Yard, a great NFL radio talk show that offers insight and analysis on up-to-date NFL news.
Since the majority of NFL teams play preseason games tonight, it was hard to get guests, but there will still be two awesome guests on the show tonight. I was actually in contact with HOF QB Warren Moon's assistant to try to get him on tonight, but since the Seahawks have a game this evening, he was unable to make a commitment.
First, at 7:15PM EST, we'll have Sal Capaccio on the show. Sal works with the Buffalo Bills Radio Network and is also a host for Time Warner Cable's Sports TV in Buffalo. As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Sal is going to give us some insight on what to expect from division rival Buffalo this season, as well as talk to us about Seattle's QB situation and the Jets inability to put points on the board in preseason and whether that will transition into the regular season.
At 7:45PM EST, Emory Hunt will be our guest. Emory is one of the hardest working people you will ever come across. His website, footballgameplan.com, features EVERYTHING football - NFL, college, Canadian, high school, arena, semi-pro. You name it, Emory covers it. He's super knowledgeable when it comes to football, so we are excited to have him on the show again. He's also a motivational speaker, so you'll get to listen to a speech that may have you frantically running around your house looking for your helmet and shoulder pads.
