So I get a call this morning from Dan with the Dolphins Season Ticket promotion staff telling me about seats at the 20 yard line being reduced to only 25 bucks a game. Great deal, huh? Except for the small commute, since I live in L.A.! He knew it too, he called to the other side of the country to try to sell tickets! I thought it was pretty funny, thought I'd share it with you guys.

I get stuff all the time to buy Florida Panthers season tickets, and I live in Pennsylvania. It has been a couple years since I went to a Panthers game, but I am looking into making a combination weekend with a Panthers and Dolphins game.

Maybe even worth it to buy 'em and then sell 'em for a little more come gametime via ticketmaster or something - is that some kind of illegal? I mean if you genuinely are a fan, and are interested in the benefits of being a season ticket holder, but simply don't have the ability to make it to every game?

Scalping Dolphin game tickets for profit??? ... I'm no Harvard MBA, but I don't know about that business plan!! :lol2:

lol @ JerryD...
I've been mulling over the idea of Dolphins season tixx for the past few seasons, following the 2008 campaign. Seeing as how the last three years played out, im not too upset i'd passed. This past March was different. Call it blind faith or a deal (2 @ $400 per seat) but something inside made me pull the trigger. And with our new coaching staff, solid draft IMO, and our change in philosophy, im pretty stoked and cant wait to get them in the mail this summer. Above everything else, i want to see progress, feel the energy of the stadium, and watch the team's ups and downs through out an entire season. Im not expecting anything from the team this year, besides showing progress, and to NOT be in the running for Matt Barkley come early November. I will also mention that i was born and raised up in NY, was heckled by every Giants and Jets fan, Cowboys and Packers frontrunner, and stayed true to my team though all the turmoil. After school, I moved to Broward County in 2003, and i do not need to explain the history we've had since then. As you can imagine, i see this as "bucket-list" worthy, and win or lose I'm going to enjoy the hell out of the 2012 season.

Roflmao I bought Clubseats on the Dolphins 40yd for the playoff game in 08 for significantly less them then value of ebay. Huge supply not a lot of demand seriously our owner and business but them and give them away to avoid blackouts.

Good Story. Can I ask what area of the stadium you get for $400?
I too live too far to be a season ticket holder currently. But some day when I retire I'd like to hang out in South Florida for a season and do the same as you.
Maybe lease a boat and live on the ocean during the week and go to the games on the weekend.

Hope the long wait for you pays off with a season to remember win or lose.

I can tell you anywhere in the upper deck you would get a better view by being a stow away on the Goodyear Blimp and knowing prices I'm betting upper deck corner endzone..

For $25 a game you should buy them and sell them. even if Miami is bad you should be able to get $25 for a ticket.
