MiamiDolphins.com reports Miami Dolphins LB Junior Seau (calf) suffered a calf strain during the team's Week 3 game, not an Achilles' injury as previously reported.

That's good, a calf injury is much more safe then an achilles.

Seau never got injured until he started playing for us. I am not exaggerating either. He never missed a game.

Did anyone else see when he came out of the game and threw his helmet down and just yelled. He looked pissed.

It's because he is an older player now. Unfortunetly this is prob how it's going to be for him until he rertires.

I believe on that play he clipped his calf into Thomas and crew making a joint tackle. Hopefully it's a bad charly-horse and not a serious injury...although him walking away on his own bodes well.

I've had the unfortunate pleasure of experiencing both a serious calf injury and and partially torn Achilles (each at different times). The Achilles took 4 months of rehab before I could run on it again. The calf took almost a month. It sucks that Seau's injured but it could be a lot worse.
