If Junior Seau is still trying to adapt to playing strongside linebacker like his teammates have said, he wouldn't say so publicly on Friday.

Seau tried to downplay how much the shift from weakside linebacker has impacted his performance entering Sunday's road game against the New York Jets.

"I've played all over," said Seau, who has worked in a variety of defensive schemes in his 16 NFL seasons. "I'm so old, I've played everywhere. Football is football."

Looks like seaus the kind of player where even if hes not happy he'll still play it...thats exactly what the saban attitude around here has done. Its made us more of a team :D

this is probably his last year anyway (he'll retire as a Charger in 06), but he'll do what he's told, or he'll be replaced by Donnie

Where in this article did it say he was unhappy with his position change? All it really says he's still trying to adapt to it.

What a ludicrous attempt to put a negative spin on it by the writer?

We are ASSUMING he is downplaying it? Maybe it really just isnt an issue? Ridiculous.

All things being equal, I'm sure jr would like to be in his old spot, but at this point in his career, I think he just wants to be on the field and to win. I'm sure he's willing to do what it takes for the team to be successful. PArt of that is getting Crowder on the field.

Weakside to Strongside is a demotion in playtime so the writer is definately trying to play it up and using Seau's adapting to it as a way to back it up.
