Please don't slaughter me if this has been discussed in the past.

I haven't been paying attention to what goes on in Washington, so please update me if I missed anything big.

Last I remember, there was some trouble between Lavar Arrington and the Skins. If this is still true, I believe the last year of his contract is voidable (2006). I don't claim to be a "contract specialist", but I imagine that the last year of his contract would cost the Skins a significant amount of money. An amount I'm sure the Skins don't have, or would want to spend on Lavar.

That being said, how much interest do you think Saban would have in suiting him up in a Phin uniform?

Your opnions please...

I think not. We are going to develop our own for cheap and in a few years start collecting more draft picks. I think after this year we will see more and more of that. Players will be seriously coached to their best, showcased and traded, as we steadily upgrade our team, player by player.

In general, I agree with you. However, Lavar is only 26 years old and could be a monster for us for many years ( I know, I know, if he can stay healthy!!)

Zack, Channing, and Lavar... that's could be a pretty intimidating LB core.

I didn't know he wanted out of baltimore???

Ray wouldn't exactly help us get younger...

Another question:

Would Arrington fit the profile of a "Nick Saban type LB"?

if not him, then who?

get real

I heard they signed Lavar to like a 6 year contract extension he is not leaving the Redskins any time soon...

Seau's replacement will be Jesse Solomon, LB from FSU. :goof:
(Remember the 1994 playoff game against the Chargers)?

No seriously, it will be Julian Peterson. :D
