Didn't see this posted yet. Fox Sports did a midseason NFL report. Here are the Dolphin ones that made it on:

Second half rookie to fear  Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown

It's amazing how much better someone can look when competition rears it beautiful head. Brown has been a stud in two of the team's last three games and is giving them ample reason to keep Ricky Williams meditating on the sideline.
To tie into the second half prediction, here is their opinion on the first half winner:
First half rookie stud  Bucs RB Cadillac Williams

Did they overdrive him in the first half? Sure, but it was well worth it considering the start they came out of the gates with. He'll continue to fight through that plantar fascia injury for a while though.
The other Dolphin of note:
Defensive player of the first half  (Tie) Dolphins LB Zach Thomas and Bears LB Brian Urlacher

Which one is the "real 54" here? Tough to tell. Urlacher leads all LBs in sacks with six and has been nearly flawless in the league's most stubborn defense of late. Thomas has been a tackling and play-making machine. He seems to be everywhere at all times but doesn't just settle for the tackle, he's constantly making big hits and big plays.

Bet Zach opened a lot of eyes with those goal line stands. That was a pretty career defining moment in a season of mediocrity.

Zach is definitely going back to the Pro Bowl this year.

I didnt know Cadillac had a plantar fascia injury? Isnt this what JT has?

wooow I hoope Ronnie rushes for 1100 yards 8 Tds and zach breaks Urly's record of tackles in a season

Ronnie can easily get that. If he stays at the average production he has had in the last 4 games, he will rush for 1,300 yards... and he will definatly be getting even more carries soon.

Nasty

I think there is a good chance that the second half of his season could be alot Kevin Jones' last year. you?

the thing i like about ronnie is that he rarely gets pounded or hit square.

i thought he would be initiating contact and be like an eddie george, but he hasnt. he makes subtle moves that avoid punishing hits. a good sign that he wont wear down quickly

I have seen that too. I cant remember anyone that got a clean hit on him... and I agree with you about it being a good sign. hopefully he stays as the one giving the hits.

Yep -- that's a good point. He's been a lot more elusive than I thought he'd be too.

Thanks for the link. At least we have something to be proud of amidst our losing record.
