John Jerry at LT...fail. He's back at G.
What happened to this guy? Last yr the coaches were raving about him in TC, until he became ill.

He can't do anything well. He can't pass block or run block. And that's against 2nd and 3rd stringers. It is hard to believe how bad he is.

Remember Donald Thomas? he was the next coming in TC and then he was gone after they realized he cant play. For a coach that specialty is oline, he has had a lot of trouble finding lineman in the draft, except Long which was as much of a gimme as you can get.... but Donald Thomas, Shawn Murphy and John Jerry

Bergers last hoorah and next week to see if there is any reason to even keep him on this team.

Thomas was a good player he was cut because he had an attitude it had nothing 2 do with his play.

Lots of teams seem to be able to develop O-line talent. But we use high draft picks or buy expensive free agents and still struggle. It looks like it's the biggest problem at the moment...

The sad part about this is there was no drop off in play between the starting line and 2nd string.

kinda funny not much difference except pouncey from the 1st and second stringers minus long
i hope Ireland is doing his homework on the waiver wire
THe front office has to see the o-line as the biggest fail right now !
how could they not?

Well, he is the second best C on the team. And he is versatile enough to be able to play G, too. That likely earns him a spot. The only other choice to fill that C/G role is Garner, and he has not looked good at all in the preseason.

I have not been able to watch the dolphins play much this preseason so I don't know if this is miami's problem this year but a QB and an experienced center can help a great deal in making an O-line effective. They can recognize defensives front and change the play or adjusted it to give the line an advantage over the defefense.

“We’re going to stay the course, and we’re going to be fine,” Sparano said. “Everything that happened [Saturday] is fixable.”

Yes Coach Fist-Pumper, we should stay the course with this offensive line, so we can lock up Andrew Luck and fire you and Ireland I hope.

Really, Colombo is suddenly going to be not horrendous yet continue to start because he's an ex-Cowboy? Really?
