wont take long need to vent, this team is lacking in leadership and talent.

I cant understand how a team after fighting so hard to get back into the playoff picture cant find the motivation to compete.

Last week was perhaps the back breaker, if you look there and see this performance its clear the season was lost then, even though mathematically they could have made the post season.

Im more disturbed with the regression of Chad Henne, more on that later, but where once it was thought this team was close to needing a few parts to put them into elite status now seems like they need more foundational work so who knows now.

Im to anoyed and angry to say much more its funny how some teams always have the same story line season to season, for miami its never good enough!!!!

Season over have a great off season dolfans

Failed to show last week? You mean when the team got down 24-6 halfway thru the 2nd half and rallied to tie it. AND had the first possession in OT to possibly win it? Oh yeh....good call.

And how has Henne regressed? This is his first year starting. If anything everyone should be pleased with his progress. Remember John Beck? How bout AJ Feeley or Trent Green or Daunte Culpepper?

I loss is a loss, the 4 turnovers killed us, we should have won that game going away...not to be satisfied by making it to OT....that's the point bud.

You show me a good loser....I'LL SHOW YOU A LOSER!!!!

we haven't even given up on this game

you should be ashamed

regression as in throws an INT in OVERTIME as in your team makes you the focal point of its offense(right or wrong) henne threw 101 passes in the last 2 game, actually its been 182 over the last 4 games, but I will keep it to the last 2.

So you team trust in you 101 pass in the most critical time of the season and you produce 2 TD & 4 int, and 1 in OT so yea to me its a regression.

The question still is Chad Henne the answer at QB and if you answer NO without atleast thinking about it then fine you probably dont think much for yourself.

Henne has shown flashes but even the biased dolphins broadcast team pointed out that Henne has accuracy issues,we wont even break down the over throws ok this wasnt and will not be about attacking Henne its about the frustration of yet another failed season & how at some point when you looked at the entire picture you felt you had building blocks however Im suggesting that those blocks may not be in place.

Simple as that get over it.

chad henne is a pro bowl QB with another wide out and a first string running back, not a fourth string running back and no big play wideout, the guy throws for 300 yards like every week now, what the hell do you guys want, have any of you been around long enough to remember the crap at QB since marino retired, my god the phins played as hard as they could with first and second year guys all year, just relax

U might be a little to one sided on this topic.

U wanna look at the last 4 games where he has thrown for 300 yards 3 times yet not the previous 5 games where he threw under 200 yards 4 times?

Is it really impressive that it takes 50 attempts to get over 300 yards? Seriously?

He has alot of work that needs to be done. He has potential and has shown flashes. In the end he showed nothing more then inconsistancy. By that we can draw no true conclusions.

Yes I have been around long enough to see what Pennington did last year. I also saw the leadership Fiedler brought to the team with his lack of skills.

I am not saying that Penny or Fiedler are better then Henne. All I am saying is that they both rallied the team and in Penny's case got more out of them then Henne has even come close to doing. Penny would have rallied this team alot better the last 2 weeks.

Before anyone even states that he helped bring us back into the games the last 2 weeks. Remember, he was a big reason the Phins had to come back the last 2 weeks.

I just REALLY wished some people would honestly look at what Henne has done and truly understand he HAS NOT shown the ability to be a franchise QB. He has the potential sure. But potential does not outweigh the fact that he has looked pretty AVERAGE all season. I would have taken 100 less yards from him today if he stopped missing RB'S in the flat and stopped missing WIDE OPEN WR'S in the end zone.

Remember, not bashing Henne, just wish some people would look at the whole picture and not just stats or games they want to to help justify their reasoning for us being ok at QB

Which QB is Henne gonna beat out? Schaub/Manning/ Rivers/Brady/ Big Ben etc. Who is he better to be a Pro Bowler?

We didn't lose because of Henne, we lost today because the team did not show up in the first half. They played soft and let the Texans push them around....then they made their late push but as usual it is always too-little-too-late with this team.

That is pretty much what happened. The whole team lost this game. Every one of them.

IMO, Hilliard was the only Phin player today that played like the Playoffs were on the line. Not even the coaches seemed to have that urgency ESPECIALLY Sparano

Henne hasn't regressed at all. He's fine. He gets the yips every now and again, but, all those things are fixable. He misses some passes high, and, comes over to his secondar reads too slowly sometimes, but, again, all that is fixable. I treally think they need to let him go a little deeper from time to time.

Pennington would've rallied this team? Jesus....

Pennington played so well last year in large part because we weren't in a whole lot of shootouts.

What regression? Henne didn't play too bad, he brought miami for crying out loud..they got behind in the first place, because the defense was pathetic. The offense didn't look good in the first half, but its tough when you have the pressure of trying to come back from down 27-3. He missed some throws, but hes shown that he can be pretty accurate, its just fine tuning and improving, but i can see him getting better.

How about we get him a #1 reciever and let him be a consistent quality starter before we put him in the pro bowl.
