Now that the preseason is over who is gonna be the starting secondary obviously deke cooper will start at one safety and im almost positive that goodman and allen are the 2 corners at least til daiels is good to go so who will be that otha safety is it hill tillman or allen

Wat do u think the chances of riggs making this team are i think he is oging to be put on the practice squad like KJ was and nex yr minor will be gone and riggs will step into his spot on the rster and and does KJ even make it that means wed carry 4 hbs

I can't see Cooper starting. I think it will be Hill and Tillman to start at safety.

Just because Cooper scored, doesn't mean he'll start. Here is what our secondary will look like:

CB
1. Will Allen
2. Andre Goodman
3. Travis Daniels (if he does play)

S
1. Renaldo Hill
2. Tavares Tillman
3. Jason Allen
4. Yerimiah Bell
5. Deke Cooper

That could shake up a bit but that's how I think we will se it. If Daniels can't go, expect Jason Allen to be the nickle.

I think you are missing one more DB. Saban will probably go with nine. The 9th will probably be Jackson, Hunt, Mitchell or Lehan.

Whoops, you're right. He probably will and I have to think it will be a corner. Thanks for catching my mistake though.

Hill and Tillman are locks to start at safety, Cooper is a good back-up and so is Bell. I feel good about our safeties. Jason Allen should play corner, we need help there and he has played corner well. except for the one time he was beat for the TD

our corner will go as follows (in this order)

Allen
Goodman
Daniels
Lehan
Jackson

Jack Hunt looked good on those blitzes, reminded me of Jerry Wilson when he was here, coming off the corner like that.

i agree with your list except for the fact that Bell and Cooper will be ahead of Allen for atleast the first game.

also, you only got 3 corners :D

Jason is going to stay at saftey
I know I just edited it. kept Allen at safety and put Lehan in

I love the way Shirdonya Mitchell has rebounded since his horrible debut, which is understandable because it was his first football game in years. The past few games, he has looked much more comfortable back there and he certainly has FAR MORE potential than a guy like Eddie Jackson. Jackson looks like a pure special teams player who would stink it up in Reggie Howard type fashion if he was called upon, defensively. Mitchell can be just as good on special teams, and has far more potential as a CB.........

If we keep 5 safeties, we won't keep 5 corners. Jackson will be on the practice squad IMO.

I don't think Jason will be starting at S, I also think we have a new RB by weeks end.
