Hi folks!
Newbie here...
Anyway love the site and excited to have a home for Phins talk!
Here's my question:
Do you think our secondary will do well against Warrick, Johnson and Washington? With Poole still green and Surtain hobbled up I'm nervous...
Sammy Knight and Antuan Edwards are gonna have to have a GREAT game to keep this thing from turning ugly quick!!! JT can't be a one-man show again, can he? That was a great game wasn't it? He single handedly beat the Bengals that day...poor LeBeau...that was the beginning of the end for that dude.

My sentiments exactly. I didnt watch the fins game yesterday because i followed it online Saturday and just wasnt going to put myself thru it. I DID watch the Bengals game and came away with the same"how are we gonna cover these guys" feeleing. I DO believe that the cincy run D is very suspect though. I have alot of respect for curtis, but not 190 yrds worth of respect. Even his backups ran very well. We will have to run the ball and control the clock to win this one!!

The Jets secondary is NOT as good as ours. If Palmer thinks he is going to get away with tossing those deep bombs on Surtain and company, he will learn quickly how passes like those get intercepted.

Feeley will have room to throw, and Gordon will have room to run.

We win 23-10

The Jets secondary sucks, they have nobody that scares me. The Dolphins have arguably the best and the deepest secondary in the league.

whats wrong with P surtain?

Also keep in mind that Palmer for all his talent is young and will make mistakes. IMO McNair is a better QB than Palmer and we held him to under 80 yards passing. If I have to rely on one aspect of our team then I'll rely on our defense and pray that our offense sustaisn a few drives to give them some rest ( no more 3 and outs!!! ).

I'm withya AJ.. Dolphin win!!

(PS my motor gets outta the shop next Monday... )

The Bengals won't score 24 points on us. I can see Palmer tossing up at least a couple INTs, still getting maybe 250-300 yards passing though because he is a good QB. I think our D holds them to under 20 points.
