With needs all over this team..i haven't heard too much talk about our secondary. I think we can all look back to last year and remember our corners getting torched, our safetys looking lost etc... Is there anyone in the draft or in free agency that you think could really help this team.

the best player available is LaRon Landry and i really think we would take him if he somehow fell to #9. he's drawing favorable comparisons to Ed Reed

Leon Hall has shown he can run, so he will merit some consideration at #9 as well. there are no free agents for the secondary i'm really crazy about, so our best bet will be the draft IMO.

I Think This Draft Is Deep With Secondary Also...landry Is A Guy I Wouldnt Mind Grabbing At 9 And Really The Only Defensive Player I Want At 9....2nd Round Will Have Some Nice Db's Also...meriweather Is A Guy I Like

Landry is the best option at DB. The DBs in FA are either too pricey or not worth signing. Look for Landry to get drafted. He will line up with Bell - two young guys with lots of playmaking talent. Look for Jason Allen to move to CB and play in nickel and dime situations.

I do not think the secondary will get help via FA. I think we will find help thru the draft. I like Meriweather. Look for him to be draft in the second round by Miami. At the UM proday, there were at least 6 Miami Dolphins representatives, and three of them were looking into Olsen and Meriweather. They were asking the coaches many questions.
I also like Landry, but I rather use our first round pick to address other needs. We drafted Allen last year with our first round pick. If brady does not fall to us, I would love to take a DB, perhaps a WR.

I think we need to use the #9 for offense. We need QB, WR, OL, TE, etc. We can DBs later or in FA. Our O has sucked for far too long to keep using the first few rounds on defense.

Landry or Revis in the 1st.
Ross or McCauley in the 2nd
Piscitelli in the late 2nd or 3rd
Wendling in the 3rd or 4th

Plenty of options in the draft. :D

There is some talk that the Dolphins is interested in Ken Hamlin, the safety from the Seahawks. He is good in coverage and would be an upgrade over Bell in that area.

Another way to make the secondary better is by simplifying the coverage schemes, similar to what it was before Saban arrived. This would allow J. Allen or whomever comes in less to think about and just play football.

everyone from last year is returning so I think we might draft one or two DBs but thats it. Jason Allen should develop nicely and get more playing time this year

We've still got the rest of FA and the draft coming up, one day at a time, one day at a time :)

i think Hamlin should be our next option. He's young, pretty fast, a good hitter and might not be too expensive. This would also help because they might want to move J.Allen to corner and let him get alot of playing time there this offseason.

I dont think we should draft a corner or saftey in the draft until atleast the 3 or 4 th rounds. Oline is much more important and is something we need to address first. I dont see us draft landry unless both quinn and levi brown are off the board.

Nick harper wouldnt be a bad option at this point either
