Secondary Help

Not sure why we are not pursuing a guy like Brandon Merriweather? Secondary was a HUGE limitation for us last season, if there is a vet out there like Merriweather, we should pursue if the price is right. I know there are a few CB's out there too. I know our bigger need is QB and WR but shouldnt neglect the other areas while we wait.

Wonder if they are waiting to make decisions until Peyton decides? If so, think that's a mistake.

Not sure. But Merriweather is capable of going between FS and SS. Think that is a plus.

Merriweather is bad. Both bears and Patriots need help at Safety and the BOTH let him go.

We had a visit scheduled with Richard Marshall, he played boundary CB, Nickel CB, and FS for the Cardinals last year.

He had a very solid year and could be signed to help shore up our secondary. He would be a very solid signing.
