I never thought I would say this but our secondary is really really bad...Did you see the game? Have you seen how many times the Titans receivers were wide open and Thanx God Collins was the QB...
I'm dissapointed in Travis Daniels...He got beat often and he is not the answer...Tavares Tillman is always late with the safety help...

There is no way we will make the playoffs or even go above 500 this season with this secondary...

I'm not including how much time Collins has to throw the ball, our innefective blitzes, and how Zach Thomas is bad in pass coverage....

He made the game-clinching interception, but that was a gift. Before that, Daniels looked like a guy who hadn't played in almost two months because of an ankle injury

Daniels was out for a lot of time, he is out of rythm, he has to improve to get it back..., Goodman was very bad the 1st 2 weeks, but seems to improve...

Our real problem is the LT from the OL...
 
sadly the only reason daniels got that INT was because he was out of position. If that pass had been on target, who knows how far Bennett would have gone?
 
Ease up on Daniels, he'll improve once his ankle is 100%. That being said, our secondary SUCKS. I don't think it's coaching, I think our players are just bad for the most part. Tillman is crap especially although Bell has been showing some flashes of brilliance.
 
yeah hopefully after daniels gets some game time he will improve but tillman must be replaced for us to make the playoffs he is the weakest link in the defence

was it me or was thier only TD reception bye a third string TE who was being coverd by Zach!!!????!?!!?!? um ya thats not the secondarys fault!!!!!

HUH??? Our real problem is that this team's play has dropped off across the board.Our offence special team and defence all need alot of work.Teams like Seattle ,Cinnci, Baltimore,Indy......they don't look bad at all.If we play any of them we are dead.Our talent level doesn't seem to match up.

actually it was the secondary's fault - zach had no safety help over the top - the safety bit on the QB looking off the receiver.
 
What scares me is that the secondary is Nick Saban's baby. He was suppose to resurrect the secondary and make it into a power. If anything our secondary is just as bad as it was last season. Will Allen is too damn inconsistant, Tillman flat out sucks and Renaldo Hill is up and down also.
 
we'll find out for sure whose secondary is worst in the league when we play Houston next week. They gave up 22 consecutive pass completions to Mark Brunell!

well i dont have the game film to watch but it sure looked like to me that zach just got beat and o ya by the way.......when they teach defensive covering thier taught to never rely on the safty help!!!! because its not allways thier!!!!thier is a difference in releasing a wr to the saftye then safty help!!!
 
There should have been safety help over the top on the TD pass to Bo Scaife, but Zach's coverage there was actually pretty damn good. Collins just happened to throw an absolutely perfect pass there. It was one of the best balls I have ever seen him throw.
