Secondary, Secondary, Secondary!!

I'm tired of hearing folks complaining about our secondary when in reality on the Dolphins laundry list of problems it's not even in the top 5. The Miami Defense has given up 21 points (remember Pittsburgh scored one defensive TD then yeah there was a breakdown) 16 (7 setup by a penalty and 3 setup by a turnover and a short field) and 10 points. If we really have a star studded offense giving up 10 and 16 points should be plenty good enough to win. The fact is that the biggest problem with this football team is offensive ineptitude. The day we score 30 points and lose the game 31-30 where the opposing QB torched us for 400 yards and 3TD's is the day I trash the secondary. Not when we lose 16-6 or even 28-17 (where 7 was a defensive TD). To be 100% honest with the exception of Wes Welker (who I was cursing up and down after that FUMBLE) and Ronnie Brown (who I think gets a ridiculous amount of criticism on here by IGNORANT fans) I haven't been impressed with anyone on our offense. Just an example of what I'm talking about with Brown, there were plays where the Titans had 4 down lineman and 4 LB's in the game to stop the run, that's respect. Sadly enough our piss poor passing game could not take advantage of those alignments. It's time for the offensive line (who SHARE blame with Daunte for the 15 sacks), Culpepper, Chambers, Mcmichael and Booker to take some balme and start playing better. I'm so tired of Chambers and especially McMichale being golden boys on Finheaven.

Also, this site ran perfectly in the offseason, why are there so many technical difficulties now that the football season is here. You figure the Admins would tinker with the site during the offseason.

I agree that there are MORE problems with the offense. However, please don't forget that we haven't exactly played teams with offenses that are very good. The Dolphins SHOULD have kept those teams under 21, 16 and 10 points.
 
What? Clearly the secondary is an issue. May be less with Daniels back, but certainly top 5!
 
TD is money in the bank he will give a needed spark to the secondary like he has they will pley much better this sunday renadlo hill is also playing great and so is will allen i think we need to give jason allen a chance to take over for tillman tillman is the one who is killing us
But no if we get the online fixed we will be fine!

I agree with you on Tillman, I think Bell should start in place of Tillman.:dolphins:
 
The secondary(saban's baby?)the lbs and oline suck.Saban didnt draft a single lb thats unacceptable! and the lbs he signed suck.If this guy knows about D# how come he didnt draft a single lb and how come he signed such a crappy lbs? Too bad we suck cuz itd have been sweet to win the superbowl at home:fire:We could still sign some players and turn it around safety Nate Salley,Atari Bigby cb Korey Banks Ahmed Plummer? Barrett Green Rocky Calmus are out there if im not mistaken they are fast and can blitz they are better than what we have.We really need help at LB Zach cant blitz and sadly has lost a step.We have to do somthing cuz with the guys we have now we arent going anywhere and the SB is at Miami ugh!We need to play Harrington you cant play with a limping Culpepper,Harrington as of now has more mobility than Culpepper.Yank out Shelton and play Alabi dont move him at guard.
 
The secondary is a concern..now and for the future..we got one stud (Daniels)...and the oher is on IR(Poole).....after that were not lookin good.
