See you guys in less then two weeks

I don't think we get blown out either, but it seemed like many folks were taking GB for granted after our Raiders win. I saw many comments on how GB is beatable, their D isn't that good, etc.

They have Rodgers, and a solid run game. Considering how our Offense was operating prior to the Raiders game, are you really brimming with confidence that we will be able to keep up with them?

Their run defense is bad. You are watching a wounded Vikings team with a TERRIBLE quarterback that doesn't even look like they're trying. This is actually kind of what happened to them two weeks ago against the Patriots, except it was Cassel instead of Ponder.

Also that Vikes defense is straight yard trash.

I'm just saying, this doesn't change my mind. I still think we have a good shot to win the game and I don't think it's going to be a blowout either way.

If it turns into a Rodgers vs Tannehill kind of game, the Dolphins are screwed. The Dolphins need to effectively run the ball to keep that offense off the field just to have a chance.

So with GB putting a 40-burger on the Vikings and keeping them scoreless, are there still many of you that are so confident in the game next week?

I understand the Vikings aren't the greatest team, and they are without Bridgewater and Peterson, and its Thursday which is typically when a team is blown out, but the Packers are demolishing them. We were all hyped about putting 38 on the Raiders, who are an even worse team than Minnesota.

I will be impressed if we are able to beat the Packers next week, even if its a home game.

Why would anyone here really be confident about next week? I expect the Packers to win by 21+ next week.

I don't think it will be a blowout. I think it should be a rather entertaining game actually, I just don't see us coming out ahead though. Hope I'm wrong!

Well yeah, probably. Aaron Rodgers is the best in the game, IMO. People talk about there being that elite group of three or four guys at the top, and I agree with that, but the more I watch Rodgers the more I'm convinced there's no one better.

It's in our interest to try to shorten the game but I suspect GB will play us the same as they way they played the Vikings being extremely aggressive on the short stuff, so do we try to force the short stuff anyway? Do we "take what they give us" and throw it deep, which if it doesn't work opens us up to sacks and actually lengthens the game? Or do we do something that would seem completely counter intuitive and run a two minute offense most of the game, which might allow us to hit on a lot of short stuff, and may wear then out effectively shortening the game?

I don't envy the game planners for this one, but I think I would go the counter intuitive route and run something similar to the 2 minute offense at the end of the half vs KC.

That could get ugly fast. As potent as their offense is, we really can't afford to turn the ball over and letting RT go deep often... [shudder]

I think our best chance is run and run often combined with short passes. We have to keep Rogers off the field so he doesn't get into a rhythm. If he gets going, our D is gonna be worn out in the 2nd half.

Not only is Ponder really bad, he only had 3 days prep with the starting unit. Also, when he is on the field it is as if his inability to function as an NFL QB affects the entire team. That defense looked like they gave up after the long Nelson TD followed up by the pick 6 and 2 additional turnovers.

Not taking away from the Packers at all but IF good Dolphins show up on a hot sweltering South Florida afternoon Miami will move that ball on a bad defense and should win. If bad Dolphins show up, it's going to be a long day.

How call anyone say the Vikings are better then the Raiders? Not without teddy and adrain. The vikings are the worst team in the league with ponder at QB not even close

You haven't seen the Jags or Titans play, my friend. Wait until you do.

If we lose to Jacksonville I'm going to drive up to Davie and camp out across the street with a FIRE EVERYONE sign until I die of exposure or Boss Ross has mercy on us. That team is bad.

The Jags give up an astounding 38 points per game. The Bucs are next at 29. That 2 possession difference is huge.

In contrast, prior to last night's game the Packers were giving up 24 per game which is the same as Miami. The Vikings helped them reduce that to 21. Again lets hope that it is a hot humid day in Miami and that the Dolphins have a couple of long time consuming drives in the first half. If that happens Miami should win.

Yup, the Jags' defense is historically inept through 4 games.

No way man, that's just your imagination. If the defense looks flat its flat and that is completely unrelated to QB play.

Don't think those defenders don't recognize how bad Ponder plays creating doubt. I don't give a **** if your a professional athlete or an old fat guy in a beer league. When that position is hopeless it has a trickle down effect.
