Seneca Wallace

I don't want to start a big trade scenario, but the Hawks have had WR trouble the last few years. Engram is getting old, and has been #3 up untill this year.

Update on the Seadog game

For the guys that asked about MacPherson he is just average. Wallace has shown huge improvement and they were saying on the pre game show to watch him. Man the guy is very accurate throwing lasers and nice touch passes. Great speed to avoid the rush If they need a wideout give it to them! Seattle smoked them

MC Pherson average?
I just saw on the scoreboard he threw for 67yrds and a TD!

Lol, me too Dolphinfan2k5. Tom?

ANYWAY....

as al ong time ISU fan, Seneca Wallace Fresno I believe....California at any rate.

He was a PHENOMINAL QB for Iowa State. Up to the point where he came to ISU Sage was seen as the best QB to play for ISU. Then Seneca came, he's a scrammbeling QB but he's always had an arm. One game he had a 90% completion percentage (better than Sage ever had), which is phenominal for having played at ISU (no help at ALL). One play he had a 70 yard scrammble that only netted like 20 positive yards down field (he was chased up and down the field, it was a blast to watch).

now, i'm not going to be a homer and say "sage is the one". he has his drawbacks (his size being one of them). He is a stellar athlete however. The reason he was drafted so low, was because teams wanted to switch him to CB (would have gotten him a 2nd or 3rd round selection at the time) but he insisted that he would only play QB in the pro's.

He looked GREAT last year when he got playing time as well. I'd love to see us get him cheap, and give him a shot to perform. In the very least, he's a very talented athlete who plays with a lot of gut and heart.

I think the Seahawks should've tried to move Wallace to wideout, kinda like Randle El. Anyways he looked good, but I don't want other teams scraps, and I think if the team is to go after a Qb, it'll be through the draft. I remember a run by Wallace while he was at ISU, against a highly ranked team at the time, either Nebraska, or FSU, where he made a great run to score. I think it was one of the plays of the year for college football when it happened. He's a great athelete, but I don't think he'd start for the team, and like other Qb's who seem to be run first, I don't know how long he'll be able to stay healthy. The most impressive backup Qb IMO, was Cassel, from New England, who seemed to have happy feet as well, but the guy wasn't even a starter at USC, and to credit Pete Carroll, his backup Qb maybe better than some other teams starters who were drafted ahead of him.

I love the way Seneca moves, he'd be a terrific QB if he came to Miami. His recievers in Seattle are brutal and he'll never succeed there with Hasslebeck the man anyway, so if he ever does leave and we are in need of a QB, i'd check him out....

Hows Adrian McPerson doin?

IT was hilarious let me tell you the scenario: It is 4 and 1 the Saint's decide to go for it, McPherson lines up to take the snap....One problem he lines up behind the tackle and gets flagged for delay of game by the time his team mates tell him it is too late:lol:

Ouch, reminds me of one of those Testerverde lining up behind the guard, only he never got penalized because i dont think the refs were believing a 18 year veteran would forget where to lineup....

Listen Guys. I live in Iowa. I have seen him play.

Besides for Mike Vick, Seneca Wallace is the Fastest QB in the NFL.
at Iowa state, he had a lot of big runs.....he still doesnt have the awerness, as a starting QB.
He is fast and can run. He was trying out for punt returner for the Seahawks.

he is the number 2 qb for Seattle. He would start for us.
I also live in Iowa and am a little more older and probably able to remember more from his Iowa St. days than a young pup like you. Seneca has skills but he gets alot of balls knocked down at the line. He is too short and was playing against backups. He would never beat out Gus.
