Sense of urgency. Or lack there of??

I am sure everyone has noticed this, this year. When Miami's back is up against the wall, our offense seems to put drives together, play with a sese or urgency and score at will. So why is it that when we have the lead, our offense seems to be conservative? Why not on every possession we try and score. It's like we get ahead and then we just try and keep the lead instead of continuing to score. I don't get it.??? Just seems like our play-calling sucks when we have the lead.
