Can someone please tell me how many SB winning coaches go on to new teams and repeat the performance. There isn't too many.

Sparano may be someone what new... but everyone was singing his praises after we when to the playoffs in 2008. Yea.. he has to learn like Henne has to learn. HAs the last 2 season been disappointments??? Absolutely.. but I still think he deserves this chance.

IF we don't win he won't last the season. Then there is no guarantee some hotshot big name coach is going to come in here and win us anything. History has proven that.

Jerry Jones was asked why he did not hire a proven coach and he responded with the exact question above. The answer he supplied was zero. He added that those same SB winning coaches actually do not fair as well at their second team often leaving the job unfinished.

Actually it was about how much this team has fallen apart since Shula and dan left. Its about being tired of the coaches and front staff not caring about what the fans think. It's about Tony flat out lying to us about a real qb competition. Let me say that again. Tony flat out lied to you and then told u the be a blind sheep of a fan and enjoy it.

The post was about being sick and tired of having what seems like the worst front office in football for the last 12 years. It was about the fans being tired of seeing the jets and pats pass you by for the last decade do to a 2nd for a 3rd stringer passing on bolden. And yes even going as far back as passing on moss.

Fans are tired of it and if u are not then u aren't paying attention. You dont have to be completely blind loyal to be a real fan like people on this board think.

right, but you are insinuating that because a coach has won a superbowl, automatically disqualifies them from winning another with a different team. I am not looking for a ring right now. I am looking for consistent winning. And at this point the Dolphins have failed with every, non proven NFL coach they have brought in. That being said I am sick of bringing in unprovens and finally would like someone who is a proven winner. Just get us into the playoffs, then we can worry about if the coach can win another superbowl or not.

If that were truly the case you wouldn't have bored poor Joe with the past - something he is vey familar with - if you truly booed at a "practice" i feel sorry for you - your excuses were as lame as the booing itself - fans riding the FO to change out the QB every year has brought us nothing - no continuity just sell off the picks year after year... hebnne couldn't overcome henning - Henning was lousy - ever think that?

Did you ever think that if henne, without henning as OC, cannot make the throws in practice with no pressure in his face, then he WILL NOT make them in the game with vince wilfork trying to eat him....Those boos, they started when he was throwing they same way he threw last year, with henning, only this time spooky old henning was not there...

yes, henning is gone and henne still under throws, and over throws, and throw short throws faster than nolan ryan throws a fastball...henne is still henne even with henning gone...but go ahead and keep blaming it on henning...

he doesnt want the keys then. what makes u think he wants the keys now? only reason IMO is he wouldnt have to rebuild the team. Its already built! minus QB and a couple of upgrades. but our las t couple drafts have hit players and undrafteds too.

Id rather have Jeff Fisher than Cowher. Cowher is VASTLY OVERRATED. Dick LeBeau was a HUGE part of his sucess and Cowher had what 1 SB in 20 years. Fisher is a better coach, much rather get him.

Another FACT to consider:
NO Superbowl winning coach has ever won a Superbowl with ANOTHER team.

Ridiculous, we suffered thru 4 years of Fiedler with no change, we have now suffered thru a couple years of Henne.

Bringing in journeyman is not real "change" at quarterback. The failure has been in identifying and going after QB's high in the draft, quarterbacks capable of winning big games and doing great things....like Marino and Griese did here (Hall of famers drafted in round 1).

This team more than most should understand from history the need to have quality at QB, and yet since Jimmy Johnson arrived the mentality has consistently been that "we just don't have time to develop a young QB", so year after year they fail to go after and draft QB's high. When they finally do decide to start drafting QB's they go in half hearted passing on the likes of Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers to take stabs in the dark in round two on Pat White(who looks nothing like an NFL qb), John Beck and Chad Henne.

So how you can blame the fans for wanting quality at quarterback is beyond me, its been the lack of priority placed on it by the front office and mistakes made by the front office that caused the results of the last 11 years.

We passed on Drew Brees twice (Superbowl winner), we passed on Aaron Rodgers (superbowl winner), we passed on Matt Ryan (probable future superbowl winner).

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE did not pass on anyone weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee are fans not part of the Dolphins organization. DW passed on Brees not the fans weeeeeeeeeeeee.
Nick Saban passed on Brees, and Rodgers not the fans weeeeeeeeeeee. The Tuna passed on Matt Ryan, not the fans. As for Jeff Ireland he passed on Ryan Mallet, so we can blame him in 4 to 5 years when Mallet get his first start.
