The Miami Dolphins might be forced to finish the season with rookie Laremy Tunsil playing left tackle.
While Branden Albert was able to finish Sunday's 31-24 win over the San Diego Chargersplaying with his dislocated left wrist in a cast, the Miami Dolphins aren't sure continuing to do so is a wise decision for the team's best offensive lineman.
According to head coach Adam Gase, Albert is going to see a hand specialist to determine if playing with a cast on his left wrist could create long-term concerns about his wrist.
"What can we do as far as moving forward? Are we able to get him back this week. Is it going to be the next week," Gase said. "Everything is out there right now for us. [Albert's hand] is very swollen right now."
After Sunday's game Albert, a nine-year veteran who has started 113 NFL games, insisted he'll continue to play for the Dolphins, but it appears the decision will be decided by Miami's medical team.
