separated shoulder......

Damn this means they are going to RUN DThomas into the groud!!!! Poor kid will be out of the NFL by his 3rd year...

I'd have to say i think he subluxed his humerous (separation of the shoulder followed by it slipping back into place). AC separations usually occur when the arm is down by the side of your body and you really torque that shoulder girdle down (living in a ski area we see boarders do this to themselves constantly). His left elbow seemed to be extended and he seemed to jam it onto the ground. This is what i'd bet occured. I did the same type of injury to myself, and subsequently had to have the cartilage cup reattached. (labrum tear- SLAP tear, bankhart lesion).

Nope. When you hold your arm close to your body just like he did when he walked off the field is a classic sign of separating your shoulder (ac joint). When you dislocate your shoulder (humerus usually dislocates anteriorly and inferiorly) you hold your arm straight and by your side. I should know, I've had to relocate plenty of dislocated shoulders.

We might finally get to see what Pat Devlin is made of......good NFL story if this kid can be a diamond in the rough.

He has a high ceiling....we should just put him in to get the experience.

Tony Romo had a high ceiling, and he didn't play until his third or fourth year because most rookie QB's, except for a certain percentage of the blue chippers (which Devlin is not), simply aren't ready to step into an NFL game and complete passes repeatedly against talented defenses.

He is definitely not ready, but get him in now bc next year we are drafting a franchise QB...Devlin wont ever get on the field.
