This isn't meant to be sarcastic or rhetorical...please help me here...

I want so much to have faith in our ownership, but I need need someone to tell me one good move Ross has made since acquiring the team...anything to give me hope.

From my perspective he just wants to make a splash as opposed to doing the right thing. Bill Belichick wasn't a sexy hire...

I wish I could, but i really cannot think of ONE good thing this joke of an owner has done.. anyone else?

There was that thing...no.
Ok, there's...hummm...no.

Guys....Ross inherited this current regime. As a business owner, he has to trust that the "football operations" people are going to do their job. Thus, Ross can then focus on improving the game day experience. However, the football ops are not performing and Ross knows this. He will make a move to replace them for a better fit, but it takes time and timing. Patience....like I said before....Ross is better for us than Huizenga.

Do you have any basis for that? His only football ops maneuver has been the Harbaugh disaster and then giving an extension to Sparano. His improvement to the game day experience has been a bunch of **** I don't care about and more often than not embarrasses me and the franchise. ****ty celebrities. ****ty music. ****ty clubs. ****ty fins up videos. ****ing Gator/Tebow celebrations.

Why is the Harbaugh thing a disaster? Because the media said so?

Im a business owner and I know that Ive tried may different marketing tactics...some work and some don't. He's trying and I totally appreciate his effort. He's obviously not a billionaire bc he's an idiot!

The Sparano extension had to be done bc of the way the media blew everything up. In the end, the extension doesnt prevent Ross from firing Sparano.

Partly, yeah. You want bad press towards your product? How the team is perceived is very important. You want to project the brand positively. There's nothing admirable about desperately chasing after a new hire for a position that is already filled. It was misguided to begin with. It wasn't even an intelligent play and to completely fail at it just accentuates what a bad idea it was. There were a number of subtler more intelligent ways to at least determine whether it was a realistic target which I doubt it ever was. Then all the bull**** surrounding the Sparano extension just made it more awkward and piled a mistake on top of another. There are a lot of wealthy idiots in the world. If we're to judge him by his actions, he's given us nothing positive.

Ross bought the team with the understanding that the Trifecta would have control over football operations. I always always under the understanding this would be the last year of that experiment if they didn't start winning.

Ross hasn't made ANY football decisions. The only time he got involved was with Harbaugh, and quite frankly... I'm glad he did something. The media hyperbole that was created is because he didn't play fair.. So what.. the Pats cheat and their considered a dynasty.

I'd rather an unpopular owner who will do anything to improve the team, rather than being nice, and having more of the same.

Expect his adviser Peterson to recommend firing the entire FO and coaching staff, and bring in a name.. like Gruden, Cowher, or Fisher. I really don't see anyone else in the mix.

Although Miami has been mired in futility the past 10 years, it has one of the richest histories in football and one of the best all time winning percentage.

Ross IS willing to spend whatever it takes. Given the history of this franchise, and the competitiveness of this division, it would be very enticing to the big name coaches.

And once that decision is made, expect once again Ross to let who ever is in charge to control football operations, and he'll once again work on the stadium experience.

Ross doesn't NEED to be a football guy.. he just needs to be willing to spend when the football people tell him too.

He at least tried to get harbaugh...he didn't land him but u miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Lol still don't think this is anything to be hopefull for.

Its a disaster by the way it played out. Plus it was never that hard for Wayne to get his guy (Jimmy, Saban, Parcells, etc.)
