Why is everyone still clinging to the hope that Ricky Williams will produce? Am I the only person who thinks that the sole reason he is back in football is to avoid paying $8.6 million back to Miami?

I knew he would do nothing this year. He has lost a lot of weight and, frankly, isn't the same runner he once was.

Why would Miami want to take away carries from Ronnie Brown, who looks great and has been improving every week? He looks like a very promising back who can carry the load BY HIMSELF. Why stunt his growth in the offense?

Buffalo had a RB tandem with McGahee and Henry. It didn't work because both players felt they should start. How long before Brown complains about his lack of carries despite his solid performances?

I could care less if he produces or not. I have moved on. I like what I see in Ronnie so far. If Ricky doesn't produce hopefully we can either trade him for something or at least get enough out of him to make up some of what he owes. Either way we still win.

Hey, man, Losman has only started 4 games in his career, behind a suspect O-line. He will get better and be a decent QB eventually.

Ricky has not lost a step, he runs best when he gets the ball 35 times a game. Still he is only 10 lbs lighter then when he retired. He looked like the old Ricky during pre-season. He has only really had a few touches so you can't judge his ability, passion or love for the game. Ricky is an awsome back and will return to form. He just won't be used in the same capacity that he was under Wannyball.

I will say this, you can think what you like and you can have any opinion you like, but Ricky is here because he wants to be. We have a very deep backfield something your team doesn't.

If I was in Biffalo ( and if you have ever been to Biffalo , then you know ) , first I would leave .

If I could not leave , I would pray that Rickey has lost a step , heart ..whatever, because he ran all over Biffalo every time they played.

The yards haven't been there for Ricky because the holes haven't. We are judging him in extremely limited action. I have no doubt that the speed and quickness I saw in preseason will allow him to do some damage. Not that I think he will ever be the 2002 Ricky or even half that; I haven't seen him run over a defender in two years. But I don't think he has completely lost it or he would not have looked so good at times in the preseason.

35 carries a game? c'mon man. maybe 25 a game, tops. You havent noticed a dropoff? Williams used to start fast in every game about 2-3 years ago. And Buffalo has 3 good backs, buddy. McGahee is the workhorse, Shaud Williams is a very reliable 3rd down back, and Lionel Gates has been progressing well.

I hope I'm not being misunderstood. I'm not here to bust balls about Ricky's slow start; I just honestly feel that you guys should stick with Ronnie full-time and trade or even cut Williams this offseason.

Ricky Williams is at his best when he gets enough carries to get in the flow of the game. I think the only game when he actually exploded in the 1st few touches was against Buffalo 3 years ago. Regardless of how many yards he would have at the end of 3 quarters, you just knew he was going to go off in the 4th.

ON another note, Ronnie Brown is a class act who you will never hear complain about not getting all the touches. His resume speaks for itsself.

You know all those pics you guys have of Ricky scoring in B-LO in the snow in 2002? Yeah, he had a great game, but Buffalo won 38-21.

I am not here to dog your team. I simply think, as a knowledgable football fan, that Miami should give a big majority of the carries to Brown, who seems to be the future of your franchise.

U suggest we cut him soo what BArffalo can sign him to form a 1-2 punch with McGAhee, what you think the score will be Jills PAts honestly

Don't let Ray Lucas spoil Ricky's greatness in that game.

Buffalo will probably lose at NE. We have problems on both the OL and DL. I dont want Ricky in B-LO. I think that he is a smart, thoughtful guy, but McGahee is a much better RB at this point. As is Ronnie Brown.
