Now, with all the OJ talk here and Nublar posting links about Bills polls that say OJ was guilty but we still like him as a player...

What would you do if the Marino was in OJ's situation instead of Juice?

And this has nothing to do with OJ, don't bring him into it. I'm just wondering what you would think of Marino if he were to do something like this.

You're kidding right? Marino wasn't in that situation so it's nothing to talk about. What if Marv Levy was in that situation? :shakeno:

It's hypothetical.

It's hypothetical. No "it didn't happen" BS. I've seen alot of hypothetical questions on the board. I'd use McMichael but to compare him to OJ as a player isn't right at all. OJ and Marino fit hand in hand as players IMO.

I thought it was a serious question.

Yeah, cuz there's no such thing as a serious hypothetical question.

I'm just tired of Bills fans being bashed for "worshipping OJ" when we say we respect him as a player. If marino were to murder his wife and be acquited, would you still respect him as a player?

I don't care how good a player is, like in the McMichael case, if it turns out the allegations are true he should be released (though Saban won't do it).

What if the player is 20 years past his playing time? What should happen? Especially with an all-time great player.

Why don't you ask the Ravens fans about Ray Lewis? Ray's alot closer to OJ then Dan is.

Why do you feel the need to avoid the question? Do I care about Ray Lewis or the Ravens? No. Atleast you guys are division rivals.

Marino would have been villified just as OJ.However I think Marino would have maintained more respect than OJ did because he accomplished more.
I think we would have been more inclined to believe Marino was innocent.

OJ was a little too smug when he was acquited.

Why do you feel the need to grasp for air? All you're doing is making up a situation. It's stupid. Ask me a question without the word IF in it and I'll answer it.

He should go to jail.

The problem with your hypothetical is that it's so ludicrous and implausible that it can't really be answered. However, in a more believeable scenario if an all-time great Fin killed his wife I'd want the franchise to disassociate from him as much as possible.
