Why do you feel the need to grasp for air? All you're doing is making up a situation. It's stupid. Ask me a question without the word IF in it and I'll answer it.

Was I asking YOU? No, I was asking the forum as a whole. I realise you have a thing for me, following me everywhere I post, but calm down baby. It's ok.

You do know you're in a Dolphin website don't you? Or are you just trying to get a rise out of Miami fans?:shakeno:

He should go to jail.

The problem with your hypothetical is that it's so ludicrous and implausible that it can't really be answered. However, in a more believeable scenario if an all-time great Fin killed his wife I'd want the franchise to disassociate from him as much as possible.

I realise that Dan is probably the opposite as OJ as a person, but comparing them as players is very understandable.

Have I been on Billszone posting stupid questions? No. It seems you're here stalking us.

You're comparing them as players, but then correlating that to an unrelated aspect of their lives that are polar opposittes. Like I said, your scenario is so implausible that it simply doesn't warrant a legitimate response, that would be disrespectful to Dan as a person and toward his humanitarian work and love of family.

A what if scenario hardly insults someone. You're taking this way too seriously. (I know I said it's a serious question but you're taking it way too far)

If I read in tomorrows paper that Dan had killed Claire I would get rid of all my Marino stuff, probably all my Dolphins stuff, email the HOF to voice my opinion that they should cancel his induction and bar him from ever being inducted, then cry.
I would concede that Dan had talent and played at a level few will achieve, but all respect...as a person and as a player would be gone. All things considered I think in that situation I would prefer that Dan had never put on a Phins uni.

But I dont think I have to worry too much cause the very thought of Dan Marino commiting a brutal double homicide is ridiculous.

woops...i awnsered that one a lil too fast. I misread the qustion.i would not of awnsered worship if i understood.

1 Enjoyed OJ as a player.
2 Enjoyed OJ as an actor.
3 If he did it... he should be killed by the slowest and most excruciating means possible.

I agree with you.

The other can of worms is whether or not he should still hold his records and still be able to hold respect for what he accomplished 20 years later.

I can separate the player from the person. It's one of the reasons why I don't engage in celebrity worship like soo many in this Country do. But in terms of the Dolphins it would definately be an embarrassment to the organization especially if the team had never had a perfect season or even won a SB.
