Don't throw me to the wolves just yet...

Ted Ginn was recruited as the #1 High School CB in the nation when he went to Ohio State. He was turned into a WR because of his speed when he got there.

Now, normally, why does one choose to become a CB over a WR? Because they have poor hands...

I honestly think Teddy could be a top-notch CB in the NFL. That's what he was born to play until he got to OSU.

Anyone agree or disagree?

If he had Davone Bess's quickness and mindset, i think he would of stayed a CB at OSU.

He played QB in High School as well, are you sure he wasn't born to play QB in the pro's?

Plus he shies away from contact, why not make him a RB too, do we really need Ricky and Brown with Ginn on the team anyways???

We should convert him to Motivational Sideline Runner. He could keep up with whomever's taking it to the house.

All joking aside, we really need to make Chad Pennington our new ILB.

No but seriously I think Fields can play Free Safety.
If Ginn would of stayed a DB in Ohio than yea he would be a CB but its to late for that now.

Maybe Ginn could play CB...but he's not bad enough at WR to try the experiment. It's not like we're trying to salvage his career. A good #2 receiver is not a bad thing to have, folks.

I agree with that, but could he be a #1 CB?

#1 CB > #2 WR

Could you picture Ted Ginn trying to tackle someone? Let alone play bump and run.

Are you kidding? CBs have to jam and tackle.

Anyways, the new breed of CB seems to be 6'0+ and around 200 lbs. Ginn is undersized.

why are we talking about needing corners, we dont need corners. unless he can be a better safety then most say polamolu he stays right were he is

Just because Ginn is fast with the ball does'nt mean he's fast chasing someone with the ball.

I think you'd have to pray that he would turn out to be the next D.Sanders because they both do not like contact.
