Seriously, we have too many RBs

Right, but now he is completely useless, with Ronnie here he wont start, and we gave up a 3rd round pick for him.

Sounds like a waste to me, whether he got a chance or not.

You guys are probably the same ones saying dont bring back Boston for he quit on the team lol!

Even Peyton Manning sucked his first year as a starter. Give some of these guys at least a chance to prove they suck lol!:roflmao:

I said it has nothing to do with his ability- but he will not start over Ronnie!!

AND- a 3rd round pick for a backup is a waste, whether he ever had the potential to start or not. We drafted a RB 2nd overall.

In today's NFL back ups are kind of important.

Suck it up and move on already. Nothing you can do by bitching about it now is there??

Having too many RB's is a problem I really don't mind having (especially if Brown,Gordon & Harris can live up to their potential)

I'm not even counting Cannabis King.

Gordon
Minor
Morris
Brown
Harris

did I miss anybody ??

What do we do with Gordon, we spent a 3rd on him.

How many games have these guys started COMBINED in their careers? Not many, methinks. There will be a shakeout in preseason. My guess is that Sammy Morris and Travis Minor will both be gone.

Seriously we don't have any proven very good to great running backs

Keep him, he may be the best of the bunch, just ask Waany and Spiely.

it will be Brown/Harris/Gordon for our Tailbacks
EVANS/MARTIN for FB Morris will be cut and so will Minor pending...

A third round pick for a back up a waste? Aren't you willing to have a solid backup instead of someone you can't count on if you're #1 gets hurt? Ask KC or Minnesota how important a solid backup RB is.

Gordon played behind Marshall Faulk and AJ behind McNabb! It's pretty hard to beat those guys out.

Too Many RB's is a good thing, a very good thing actually. Last year we had Vick King and Brock Forsey at one point.....and ur telling me too many RB's is a bad thing?????

No such thing, dude. Look at where we were at the end of training camp last year, and the reason we traded for Gordon was that we were decimated by injuries at RB, and Travis Minor had been exposed in the last two preseason games as a fraud as a starter. And those of you still criticizing the trade seem to forget that at the time, we were expected to contend deep into the playoffs; therefore giving up the 28th-32nd pick in the 3rd round for a guy that could have helped us down the stretch was a good move, if it had worked out.

As to your list, Minor can't even carry Gordon's jock, much less Brown's; he'll be gone 1 June. Morris is a role player at best, and probably won't make the final cut, IMO. And everyone seems real high on Harris, but 30+ backs weren't taken ahead of him because he's great; he'll have a hard time making the practice squad unless he shows solid skills AND picks up the blocking schemes well in TC.
