It's a piece of shet story in my view but reminiscent of the crap piece put out by Omar last year about the locker room being in disarray before camp.

i wish there was more detail to this story re what pisses the players off about him (leaving the players names out is fine bc nobody is going to out their sources)? i am not asking this at all to defend mcdaniel, i have issues w him and dont think he is going to cut it. however, i thought the players loved him because he lets them do whatever they want and he runs the thing like summer camp. i think he also got hi grades in a player survey that was done too. so i struggle with these stories when they do not give any specific detail. the lack of specific detail also makes them hard to believe. not hard for the author to have made it clear what it was about mcdaniel that the players do not like
 
Does it matter?
We all know that McDaniel is a lousy coach.
The players certainly know that as well.
 
Lots of people on here are fed up with McD.

I am not among that group.

He’s young. Learning. Did some good work. Did some questionable work. Overall he has been good for Miami.

I’d like to see him continue to improve.

If I didn’t sense he could improve, I’d join the pitchfork and torch gang that regularly call for his ousting.

I don’t get that sense with McD. He will get better as a HC. Miami will do better this year.

Assuming that the Dolphins' O-line coalesces quickly and Tua stays on the field all season (related issues), I'm figuring that you'll be proven correct (9-8 or 10-7).
 
It doesn't really say much but there has to be something to this. This is not the first time it's been brought up. And usually when more than one outlet is bringing up the same things, there is some truth to it. I bet we will hear more and more about this.

I personally believe this to be true and am very happy about it. I want Grier and mcdummy gone like yesterday so I hope more of these reports keep coming out. Hopefully it's the end of the Grier and mcdummy era in Miami.

I dont think so man. You know that's not how it works. We already know Hill and Ramsey are two of them. And theyre friggan captains. And one quit one the team. And they were late to multiple team meetings. You really dont think other players see that, and resent that they dont get punished??

I think later on in the season, it will reveal itself on social media and more reports of this. There is something to this. I feel it in my gut.

Y’all are a bunch of lemmings. The best player on offense and defense both asked out of the team since we played our last game.

You can disagree with them. But there’s plenty of evidence of unhappiness.

Wow, that is hardly an earth-shattering revelation. Anything negative with even a remote chance of being true, you feel it in your gut.
