Several players not convinced about AJ

he barely touched the ball in the offseason. They barely know him. He is going to be like the new girl in school, everyone will have thier mouth open.
:jawdrop: He has alot to prove to the team, fans, and the media. The best time is on his first star as a Miami Dolphin!:mocool:

Maybe it's the players who don't like to be hel accountable. I'm sure it won't be long before A.J. is in people's faces like Dan was. I don't ever recall Jay getting P.O.'d and in someone's face. He's sometimes so emoitionless that it drove me crazy. Good, bad, he always looked the same.
Well, A.J. had better be able to produce like Marino before he gets in someone's face like Marino. You complain about Jay being so emotionless yet I feel that is a helluva lot better than a QB losing his head in the heat of the game (see Ray Lucas). People can bash Fiedler all they want but he was/is a leader on that team and the players do respect him even if the fans don't. Regardless of who the QB is, that QB will have bad games. How he bounces back from those bad games determines what kind of leader he is. I think that Jay has done a very good job of it during his tenure. I hope that A.J. handles the pressure well when he has a bad game and the fans turn on him.

Being a firey and emotional player has nothing to do with losing your head. Brett Farve is a FIREY player but doesnt lose his head. Actually if you look back some of the best QB's were very emotional on the field Marino, Farve, and Elway. IMO emotion and fire are some of the best intangibles a QB can have because they rub off on other players. I think AJ will get in there and play with a ton of fire and emotion because he seems to be that kind of player, and it will rub off.(one can only hope)

To the person that said that teams will adjust to McMichael you are right to a point, they cant pay to much attention to him because of the WR on the outside. If they concentrate on Randy then Chambers and Booker will get more looks. Heres to hoping they key in on Randy :beerbang: :beerbang: :beerbang:

It can't be the receivers. I'm sure they prefer it when a ball actually hits them in the numbers.

___

The player(s) is probably Ricky Williams.

It's going to take some time for Feeley to become the leader. JF has had a five year head start. Once they see his passion, and that he can actually complete a deep out and throw downfield, I'm sure that they will love him, especially Chambers.

This is normal. Unless you have a QB that goes to the Pro-Bowl each year there are always players who 2nd guess everything. It's just how some ppl are made.

Even when AJ was in Philly some fans and players thought AJ should be starting not McNabb.

I have been a Fielder supporter in the past. That is not to say that we cant get better. Feeley hit Randy M. more in one half than Jay does in three games. You have to use a talent like that. This will also open up Chambers, Booker and the running game. As much money as they are paying him and what we gave up to get him, you have to give him a shot, and that does not mean just 1 or 2 games.

Interesting... Feidler must be hung like a friggin mule, because it can't be his QB rating of 8, his inconsistancy over four years, or the fact he can't hit a broad side of a barn they respect, or can it? Our team makes me scratch my head sometimes. They can't be serious!!

he shoul be able to quiet the whispers if he can get chambers the ball and booker and McMike and keep our banged up D off the field then we'll see who complains

No reciever on the Dolphins offense (including Chambers) has had a career so successful that they should be bold enough to openly voice doubt about Feeley. If they want to win then they should focus they're energy on running the right routes, not dropping or fumbling passes and not commiting penalties. If they want the ball, Feeley their's man. They need him to look good for them to look good.

Winning cures all!

We'll see what kind of chemistry they have next Sunday after the Bengals take away Randy's routes. We are going to have to go deep at some point because teams aren't going to let A.J. to Randy happen for the next 15 games without adjusting to it. I really hope that our OC is smart enough to change things up a bit.

I hope they do take Mcmike away from AJ, that will open up Chambers, Booker and the Rbs. run a 2TE set and let Donald Lee make some plays. The key to this offense is the OL, its been beat to death but none the less true. If the fins can't establish a running game then it's gonna look alot like last week.

Well - Randy does like what AJ brings. One thing about Randy - there's no doubt he wants to win. Great attitude for our offense.

In not so many words - Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor are for Feeley as well. With things I've gleaned through interviews this week - they too want some pressure taken off the D and want the offense to move the ball and put up some points.

i am not convinced about feeley either. he had a average game against the titans. he did horrible this preseason and the coaches said he was struggling during training camp. He started a total of 6 games in his career and was a 3rd stringer most of his time in the NFL. I hope he is good and the qb to lead this team in the future but right now he hasnt proved anything yet.
