SFL is pointless

What is it w fans who think other teams are worse. We are bad. Real bad. As bad as anyone in the league. Why? Because the players have quit, we've lost our starting QB, and have a coach who is so far in over his head it's becoming comical. We are every bit as bad as anyone.

You're dreaming. 4 of our 5 losses are by double digits. You know how hard that is to do in this era of parody?

I think you meant "parity" but in our case "parody" works even better.

Exactly. On paper we have talent, but on the field these guys don't care. They have given up. They are going through the motions. Jimmy Wilson looks good because nobody else is going full speed consistently. Talent doesn't matter if there is no fire, and this team hasn't had fire for awhile now.

We may not be the least talented team but that doesn't mean we're not the worst team.

Based on what I have seen over the last two games, the Dolphins may have the worst starting quarterback in the NFL taking snaps from under Center...that includes the various rookies that are out there...so, yeah...we're a pretty damn bad team!

We have a collection of talent in various places but we do not have a whole TEAM. And morale is ridiculously low.

The only place we may have some talent is at LT. Everywhere else we blow. We have absolutely no one on either side of the ball that can be called a playmaker. Marshall is one of the most over rated players in the NFL. Ive been saying that about him since 2007. When the ball is thrown to him 30 times a game of course his stats will be inflated. We have absolutely no talent anywhere. The secondary has been garbage for 3 years and we havent even ATTEMPTED to improve it. Picking scrubs up in the 5th RD doesn't count. Those are just swing with your eyes closed and hope to hit something. We have a washed up DE and a LB that falls to the ground every play. 4 DB's that run around like their heads are chopped off and WR's that have no hands. All our big signings are rejects for teams that never do anything.

I'm the most negative guy on the board dude.

I'm not saying we're not THAT bad. I'm saying we're not AS bad. Comprehension is key.
just like you are one of the most negative people on this board, i am one of the more positive people on this board, and even i cant say that we are not as bad as people say we are.

once we lost to the browns, i couldnt defend against how bad we were. do you realize how bad the browns are? they ****ing blow so bad.

we have terrible coaching, a defense that cant touch opposing quarterbacks or force any turnovers, players dropping countless amount of passes that should be caught, players who do not know how to execute anything, i can go on and on.

its unfortunate but we have hit rock bottom.

This team is nowhere near as bad as some teams out there, believe it or not.

I mean at 0-5, you're still talking about losses to the:

5-1 Patriots
4-1 Chargers
3-3 Texans (who are struggling with injuries).
3-3 Jets (who are probably better than 3-3)
and the Browns, who are improved, but beat us on their final drive.

Do you really think this team is worse than the Colts? Who basically are a 1-player (P. Manning) team.

The Vikings? The Chiefs? The Rams? The Broncos?

Heck I think we're better than the Redskins.

This is going to be a bad year, and we have a tough schedule, but those teams are so bad I don't know that they're going to win any more games either. If we finish even at 4-12, it's not good (or bad) enough to get Luck because there is REAL garbage out there.

You realize that you're padding the stats of the teams we've played by including their victories over us? If you take out our terrible performances vs. those teams, here is how their records stand:

3-1 Patriots
2-3 Texans
3-1 Chargers
1-3 Browns
2-3 Jets

Three out of five of the aforementioned teams have a sub .500 record vs. the rest of the league. The average winning % of the teams we have played this season (Victories over Miami excluded) is .521. The average winning % of the teams that we have yet to play is .533 (Victories over Miami excluded). That means that, mathematically speaking, our remaining schedule is EVEN HARDER than the first five games. How did we do in the first five? Yep...0-fer.

we WILL be dissapointed again. even if we win 1 game we might get screwed. we are def putrid, but you are correct there are more putrid teams than ussual this season. so we may end up not getting luck. but we'll have to see.

btw F the jets they arent anything special. they beat us and we are a horrible team who honestly through it away on penty of drops and impossible red zone performance. they will lose many more games. and if not, we get to play spoiler again week 17.

Wonder if OP realizes that we have not really been in a game in the 4th quarter all season save for the Browns game.

Worst team is an argument but we by ****ing far have the worst coaching staff/FO.

The sad thing is the Dolphins CAN win any game they play, and that goes for most teams in the NFL. The problem has been that they Don't win, and don't seem to want to win. It was brutally obvious how little effort they put out there once the second half started. I re-watched the game, and it really looked like they gave up. In all honesty what incentive (other than money bonuses) do these players have when they play for a lame duck FO? In all honesty what player really has a desire to play for this talent crippling organization?

SFL makes more sense as the weeks pass. We may not be as bad as other teams, but our mentality and drive is far lower than those other teams. Even though the change starts from the top, a serious QB helps with the team's culture.
