I was so happy when he retired from the Denver Donkeys so I did not have to listen to his postgame running of the mouth in the locker room after Donkey games...but unfortunately he had to join the NFL PreGame Show and sit next to the greatest QB ever...Dan Marino.

The suits at CBS must think we want someone like Shannon. He is a complete dufus and needs to be let go. He has absolutely nothing to offer, and is an embarrasment to the analyst position.He is an amateurish lightweight. CBS - get a clue!!!!

I don't want to rag on the man who once called Dan Marino a loser!..:fire:...But he does sound like he has a mouth full of cotton most of the time...He should take some voice lessons...His brother Sterling on the other hand is very eloquent and well spoken...But even so...Shannon, Dan, and Boomer seem to be having a lot of fun working together...I think Dan and Boomer get a kick out of Shannon's enthusiastic commentary during highlights. I think he will get better over time...hopefully.
