Shaq no fan of NBA's new ball

I agree with the players..they shouldve just kept the other ball...now alot of players around the league not too happy

You stole my thoughts....Shaq should worry more about his free throw shooting then what kind of ball the NBA is gonna use.

im a fan of the original ball...havnt actually played with the new ball not even sure if its being marketed outside of nba use, I for one like my never flat ball alot...the grip on it is perfect and the bounce is perfect. I doubt the new ball will hurt shaq too much thought, despite him complaining bout it

Also, like Shaq said on Screamin A. Smith's show, compare his and Dirk's FT %s...Dirk clearly is better. But who made his when they counted in the Finals and who missed em? :D

I didn't like the idea of the new ball but I have played w/ it and it's not that bad. These guys are so used to a certain ball so they hate it but they'll adjust qucikly and it won't be that bad.

The official Spalding NBA ball is sweet for the indoor game....I have used the outdoor composite models but nothing is better than a nicely broken in leather ball. Look for 40% shooting at best.

I played with the ball today...from a ballers opinion of it, it just sucks

The grip and all is nice but if the ball gets wet its done...the ball fell in a puddle today and after we whiped it off it was really really slippery...even after it dried. I think in getting the ball wet it 100% totally killed the grip...though when the ball was dry i did go 6/10 on shooting 3s, so the grip is definitely nice if the ball is new and hasnt been drenched.

Wasssupp Budd? Is it like the composite NBA Spalding ball that is an indoors/outdoor ball? Nothing bounces as nice in an indoor gym like a broken in leather ball in my opinion. I have been playing for 30+ years....I have an authentic red, white and blue ABA ball....I think the NBA should go to that. I also have a WNBA ball....it is easy to palm since the women use it...I take it out to the elemantary school's nine foot hoops down the road, and throw down some crazy slams with it. :D
