He's been saying this for years now and it looks like guys are starting to buy in. I don't think they're just going to be able to turn it on when they want. Also I think they need to get at least the the #2 seed in the east. It also seems like the team is putting all the pressure on Wade. They just give him the ball, stand back and watch. They're asking a lot of one guy even though he's great. They're going to wear him out before the playoffs. We realistically don't have a second big scoring option because shaq doesn't seem to care right now.

There are five rings being flashed in your face as proof to how wrong you are. When was the last time Shaq put forth a great deal of effort in the regular season? Six years ago? Be happy the man came into camp in shape.

Playoff seeding is also something which has little real meaning. The Heat are assured to get at least a 4th seed provided they win the division. While playing on your home court may be the emotional boost you need in the regular season, if you aren't amped up and ready to play during the conference finals then you certainly don't deserve to be there.

The concern about Wade is very real. Hopefully with the addition of Rose and JWill, Wade's minutes can be reduced this year.

Doesn't Shaq have FOUR rings?....3 Lakers + 1 Heat = 4???

Yeah 3+1 is 4 I think. Let me whip out my abacus. Shaq didn't win a ring last year. D-Wade won the ring. I was kinda pissed that they introduced Shaq last! D-Wade should have gotten that honor.

I say 3+2 is five. Hate on Shaq all you want, but he was introduced last for a reason. Wade won the title, but this is Shaq's team and Shaq's franchise. He is still the reason players come and the reason they will win another title.

Are you serious?

SHAQ put an end to the Bulls series, when Wade was struggling.

SHAQ dominated the Pistons and was the MVP of that series.

I love ZO, but I also have eyes.

 Then you should get your eyes checked. He only had one dominating game against the Pistons in game 6 to close out the series. The games before that, without Wade, there would be no win. Dwyane dominated that series shooting over 65%. It was all about Wade in that series, everything was going in.

Shaq dominated the two games the Heat needed to win, games 3 and 6. And Wade did put on an impressive shooting performance...but lets not get carried away here. 60% sounds a bit more realistic.

Yea Shaqs save it for the playoffs attitude hurt the team bad last year.....
Shaq will wind up injured and useless in the playoffs if he goes out there to put up 25 and 15 a night.
Anyone that thinks Shaq was outplayed by Zo is living in lala land. Id trade 3 Zos for 1 Shaq in a heartbeat--and I like Zo a lot.

AH...you are the guy saying that ZO outplayed SHAQ...I think MY eyes are fine.

I thought Zo outplayed Shaq as far as intensity....in fact there were a lot of times I wanted Shaq out of the game and Zo in there....

Shaq didnt really dominate, but I dont think numbers wise Zo outplayed him either

IMO they were pretty even
