My favorite...My Gameday program from the Colts game that Dan broke Tarkenton's record with a throw to Keith Byars. I remember it like it was yesterday.

Great pic from the game...

Ticket stubs from a few pretty significant games...

Browns game where Dan tore his achilles (will NEVER forget it); Shula Vs. Shula I; Saban makes his coaching debut at the 2005 HOF game; and another from a 1994 Colts game.

In the category of things that actually exist -- unlike my soul -- I have a Dolphins helmet signed by Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor (acquired in person at the Boca mall back in the 90s when Zach and JT made an appearance).

Also I have a few autographs of Dan Marino. One of them is from a signing of that "My Life in Football" book he did, which I also got in person. The other Dan autograph I got through the mother of a friend from when Marino visited a Target she worked at back in the day. That one's locked away somewhere but as I recall it's a headshot with the Target logo on it.

Signed topps rookie card from dan Marino encased my dad bought for me when I was young...

I saved some ticket stubs from 1972, including the one home playoff game against Cleveland. I considered selling them a few years ago on ebay but they weren't worth anything close to what I expected. I wouldn't have parted with them anyway.

Probably my favorite is a round dark brown wall plaque with the Dolphins helmet in the middle, facing right. I had that on my bedroom wall for years when I was a kid. After the perfect season we took one of those round gizmos that stenciled out letters or numbers with a sticky underside. We wrote two brief lines celebrating the 17-0 season and stuck them on the plaque underneath the helmet. They are there to this day.

Actually, memories of the early '70s teams tops the list. I can envision those games detail by detail, even if I'm bewildered by the fantastic recollections on this forum of games from a decade or so ago.

I have an old Miami Jersey, one of the cheap replicas. It's a Marino one, but 20 odd years old. Still wear it today. Got a white Wake jersey, Pouncey jersey. Would love a helmet....one day

Very impressive collection DS.

I like how you said at the end... "So yeah, like I said... may not have a whole lot of stuff, but that is what I got." That's a whole lot of stuff bro. haha.

Thanks. It's a lot of stuff for a guy who doesn't live in Florida.

Wow! That's Awesome!

I've got a similar stained glass lamp that my wife got me, but yeah that really is an amazing collection.

I've never gotten the opportunity to meet a fins player so that sucks. also I realized in mid 90's that's sports memorabilia was not an investment so I quit purchasing. by my thoughts when I was a kid my marino rookie card should be worth 1000's by now. heck I had a Bledsoe rookie card valued at $60 at one time, im sure its worth 10 cents now. im sure my 100's of marino cards aren't hitting on much. My sister bought me an autographed marino jersey while she was on her honeymoon so I guess that is my favorite piece. she was celebrating her marriage and still thought of me. but at the same time its a story that ive shared in the past. when I was 10 years old I went to the Miami-Cleveland game at joe Robbie. my mom won tickets to aruba and traded them for tickets to Miami. on the flight home I had all my fins gear on (back in 89 wow how awesome was it, you could take a picture sitting in the ****pit, simpler times) but a man prob mid 50's came up and started talking to me and my mom. he had fins gear on too. he was from Rochester and was down to see his friend colleague that worked in the southern branch for Eastman Kodak. we exchanged addresses (once again back then that was safe) and became pen pals. he sent me so much stuff, professional 8x11's of the fins from the sideline photographer, some autographed by shula, marks brothers, danny, sammie smith (lol), and loius oliver. I got team posters, a DANNY BAR!!!!! was delicious, I still have the wrapper. I traded a photo of terry bradshaw and marino together pregame in my later years to a bar owner for a dan marino iron city unopened beer bottle. so yeah I have a million cards, sideline professional photos, my original dolphins digest (back when they were the size of a newspaper), autographs, bobble heads. but I guess my fav would prob have to be the marino jersey just cause sis bought for me.
