Shawne Merriman waived

How do ppl say that Moss hasnt been a factor?? Did you see how the Patriots dedicated at least two guys in coverage on Moss every single play?? Not to mention Moss has 5 TDs this season. How isnt he a factor? Christ, Moss led the NFL in TDs last season. How has Merriman been doing?? Moss=Huge factor...Merriman=Total Non-Factor...

Bills are running a 43 now..but the reason why they did so bad was because they had no linebackers to run it..

They had Reggie Torbor as their starting OLB..

Maybe could not get on the field if they get Merrimen they will implement it again or at least just use him as a end in nickel situations for this year...

Buddy Nix has the connection to him in SD..They have no real pass rushing threats..

Its pretty much a no brainer for the Bills to get him.

Moss hasn't played great this year, but the rest of his time in New England has ranged from All-time great to top 3-5 WR's in the league. Merriman has been terrible since the league took his juice. Big difference.
 
I'd love a juiced up version of MERRIMAN, but THAT MERRIMAN has left the building, and it REALLY looks like he won't be back.

I would've liked to see a little more of WALLACE, especially a double-move and deep pass. Maybe he'll turn out to be the topshelf, big and fast WR that MIAMI has been looking for.
 
Call me greedy, but I want both. There is nothing wrong with trying to upgrade talent. We could use both as our D can't get off the field on 3rd down and our O can't put it in the endzone.
 
I think Moss makes us a better team then Merriman. Moss will open up so much stuff on the offensive side and Merriman will be a pure pass rusher which ever since getting caught doing roids he has been very good at that
 
Is either one officially on waivers yet, and also can you put claims on them both?

I definitely would rather have Merriman > Moses ..... and Moss as our #2 over Hartline

I would take Merriman over Moss, hands down.

I dont get it. All the people saying bring Moss to Miami seem to think he will give us 100% effort, well what reason has he given for any of us to believe that? He played lazy as hell with the Vikes. And then professed his undying love for the Patsies Organization, why would I want to hear that fool gush over the Patriots EVERY TIME we play them? I think you guys are putting too much trust into somebody that has shown in the past that he doesnt deserve it. If hes not in the Patsies uniform, then he doesnt come to play, its that simple. Hes a cry baby b*tch and I dont want his sh*t to ruin the chemistry in our locker room. He will be like a cancer for us as soon as ANYTHING makes him unhappy. You guys thought bringing in Marshall was a bad idea because he was a "diva", well Moss is hands down the biggest "Diva" in the league, without a doubt.

Give Merriman a try, and keep Moss out of the AFCE!

More like liability. Guy can't tackle, he WAS a one trick pony in that he could rush the passer and he can't do that any more. He can't set the edge, doesn't play the run and can no longer rush the passer. Are you still wondering why he's being released?
