What the what? He can be had cheap and was one of our best run defenders at DE last year?

One of these freakin days this team will have a front office that doesn't go out of it's way to set up the coach to fail. This might be the stupidest team in the league.
 
There is still time for them to tag him but if they were going to do it you'd have thought it would be done by now.

Maybe they'll need that extra money to sign Revis now that he's going to be a FA.
 
If they do this it's a ridiculously bad move. Shelby IMO is very good and a potential replacement for either Wake when his contract runs out or Vernon if we lose him to FA next season. Bad bad bad decision. IMO Shelby and Fede are our future DE's
 
Damn that is extremely disappointing. When will we start retaining guys we develop. He has been a knucklehead but is a good rotational player.

Sign Revis...lol. $20 million a season for Revis, $19 million a season for Suh...won't have much of a team around them but the "sign this guy" people on here should be happy. Not to mention all the Tannehill haters cause he'll be gone after this year too since we can't afford him. We can probably have some scrub QB like Bo Wallace for everyone to get excited about lol.
 
Nothing on Michael Thomas either as far as I have seen unless I missed it.
 
i'm on board with going all in for revis...if 1.5 mil is the tender to pass it up on shelby is really dumb
 
We can't call it a bad move until we see how it plays out. Maybe they have a better solution in mind??

That's really strange as well considering the help this team needs at CB and S. Perhaps they are just waiting to file the claims/papers with the league?
