While there are several guys that can be credited to another ****ty season, Sherman was the main culprit. Lets hope he takes Zac Taylor and Jim Turner with him.

I think the reason they waited so long was because they needed to make sure there was someone who was willing to accept what could be a 1 year job (if Philbin doesn't win next year).

Also, we still have not heard definitively if Jeff Ireland is coming back. Not saying it's a sign one way or the other. Just saying.

Yeah, a lot of good coaches on this team. I don't even see how they can fire Zac Taylor, given the overall improvement seen in Tannehill from year 1 to year 2 - even though many are clamouring for it.

If the information about more firings is true, then I'd guess that maybe we see some defensive coaches get cut.. Linebacker coach I'm looking at you.

I honestly think RT improved because of his own talent and time itself.. There is not one place that Zac Taylor has ever been successful.

The cadence and snap count at the line? That's 100% Sherman and Taylor's fault.

Just for the record, Philbin making changes doesn't necessarily make him a lame duck coach. This isn't like the Sparano case where he was about to be pushed out the door. Even then Sparano interviewed a few decent candidates just went with Daboll.

There have been instances in the past where coaches had to make huge changes. Mike McCarthy was forced to change his entire defensive staff before he won the Super Bowl. He just has to make the right decision.
