I like Philbin. I'm still holding out hope for him; I'm anxious, but I'm holding out hope. I think he has to involve himself more on offense. I'm not talking about calling plays, but I've never had the sense that he really interjected himself into the offense. It was always Mike's offense, and best wishes, but I'm glad he's gone. We'll almost certainly bring in a WCO guy, but it'll be interesting to see if we lean more toward Houston's (and I agree completely with the idea that we were supposed to run something that looked like Houston's offense) or GB's. I like GB's offense - especially when they remember to run the ball.
If I could have fired only two people this off season, (like many here) I'd have gone Ireland and Sherman. One down . . .
