I'm kinda glad the team didn't activate him for the remainder of the season. Supposedly he was practicing the past few weeks, but apparently he wasn't

100% so why rush him? The same goes for Poole. I didn't know anything about Mitchell before last draft so when I finally read how fast he was

pre-injury (he ran a 4.29 in 2004  ) I was stoked! Here's to hoping he regains that speed come mar. 2006 coupled with a healthy Poole & another top DB addition and our 2ndary will look promising!

I was disappointed he is not 100%, but I am happy the coaches did not try to rush him back and possibly ruin his career by getting him more hurt. That kind of thing means our coaches have some morals and do what is right. I think it will also make players want to play harder for the coaches.

Agree 100%.

I understand he was a converted WR. Pre-injury wasn't he supposed to be a mid round draft pick? If so, then let's hope he has huge upside and flourishes with the right coaching.

I am not saying that he his a future probowler

but I think he can do well and maybe become a good starting corner in a few years

did we pick him up as an undrafted FA?

Poole, Daniels, Mitchelle, Schulters, Jones, draft, free agent, and no Howard. Yeah, our secondary is definitely looking better next year.
