Would any of you guys be interested in getting this guy if he falls to the 4th round... he reminds me of a Leron McClain type of back.. Big, physical runner that will always get positive yards. He can take over for either Ricky or Cobbs... now that we got Pat White, one of those backs are probably expendable
 
I bet he wishes he would have stayed in school. He would be a Heisman front runner. If he had another huge year I could see his stock being higher. I don't really see the Phins getting him.
 
I like him, I think whoever gets him will get a steal today.
 
There he goes. Another nice pick for the Jets, though they did give up a bunch to move up for him.

That's two guys with limited college experience (though tremendous production within that limited time).
 
Wow! I love getting Green, I said whoever gets him will get a steal, I didn't know it would be us. I want to see the terms of the trade before I say steal but I love getting Shonn Greene.
 
Green is a big back but did the jets really need him with washington and jones

YES b/c Jones is unhappy again w/ his contract and is getting old for a RB(though he has alot of carries left in those legs). I can't see the Jets re-doing Jones' deal again 2 years after they gave him a new deal. leon is also a FA after this year and they will keep Leon. I can see leon and Greene as the duo in 2010 and beyond.
