Currently we have a 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 3 7ths. How are we going to get more picks? The best option i think is to trade down in the first seeing as how there isnt a specific player we want/need that will be available. Are there any players that we could possibly trade for mid round picks?

mare was a possibility for possibly a sixth or fifth but i dont think its happening. i would love to trade to get extra picks but we need a trade partner. denever was a good bet to trade down with but not now after the three way trade went down.

We're accustomed to being short on picks.....and angry about it.

This year that's not the case. Those picks were all worthwhile. And we didn't give up multiple picks for one player.

Think of it as drafting early. :)

That's true we have already used a 2nd and a 6th on two QB's (DC, Lemon) and a fifth on a d llineman (Wright) However i am kind of upset about the 6th for Lemon seeing as how the Jets got Ramsey, a potential starter, for the same price.

Miami would have picked lower in the 6th still. So not like they would have gotten Ramsey anyways.

Also, now that we're talking about getting Harrington that could mean even more picks out the door for yet another QB.

Exactly what i was thinking.

We have filled so many needs on this time over the last 12 months through trades and free agents I am not terribly upset about our available picks.

OLT-solved
QB-solved
Backup QB- solved
Young Talent QB- solved
FB- Solved
RB-solved
LB- Craver is a nice pickup.
CB- Allen is a nice pickup

The only "major" hole left is pretty much the NT position. Wright cannot play it yet, and Traylor isn't anywhere to be seen. The Michigan NT/DT will be a nice selection in round 1.

Craver? Who's that? The DB for the Saints? Did i miss a signing?

Gabe Watson at 16??? I don't think so. That would be waaaay to high for him. Especially with the up and down year he had.

I still don't understand the trading of a 6th round pick in the Feeley/Lemon trade. If Saban didn't want Feeley, then release him at the end of the year. I didn't get the trade in the first place.
