No it's not a myth, its actually a formation. I say we try it out this year. thoughts?

I agree, I was really suprised not to see us run any shotgun formations. It was probably because it takes the same amount of time to go from Mckinney to Feeley in the air as it takes the Bengal's defenders to get in the backfield.

hmmm I have vague memories of the shotgun formation. I remember we used it a lot with Marino and I think we used it with Jay for awhile (on 3rd and longs), but it all seems like a distant memory now.

I was wondering the same thing during the game. As a matter of fact i got angry when they didn't line up in shotgun. It would atleast give feely another 2 seconds.

I've been whining about this since the preseason.

It's 3rd and 19, and we're still wasting time dropping back. Against Tennessee, our only TD came out of the shotgun.

I have no idea why, with our troubles in pass protection, we aren't using it. Especially in obvious passing downs.

Did you notice porno on the sideline? He wasn't stressing out like he usually does. Like he expected a loss. Well, if you got nothing to lose why don't you just take chances. Take shots down the field. it's like now that they're enforcing the no contact after 5 yards rule he's clamming up even moreso.

You're right. Passing's overated. Who even thought of the shotgun formation anyways? bunch of loons. it will never work.

I was screaming that at the TV in the 4th quarter. Feely was effective out of the shotgun against the Titans why for christs sake did they not use it!
