Sam and pat should get theyre jerseys retired especially sam.
2 corners that great in their prime in the same backfield dont come along to many times and they were the face of the great defense we had along with zack and jt back in the day.


So what your opinion?

no.....they were good but not great.
 
When I thinj of players on the ring of honour... and what it takes to earn that honour, neither of them fall into that category.
 
NO and NO ... SURTAIN would have had a shot, but MADISON -- ABSOLUTELY NOT .... he MIGHT make the top 3 CORNERS in PHIN history ... but that is debateable ...
 
i dind't really like madison when he played for us
ide like to have him now since of al this secondary we have now stinks
pat was one of the better corners in the nfl at that time

you want to add them to #'s 12,13 and 39

I like Pat and Sam but to bestow that honor on them I do not agree.
 
They were good players but retiringtheir #s? No way, that would be an insult to the great players you have retired. Taylor and Zach have been the 2 best defensive players of this era and I don't think thye deserve it b/c thye were the leaders of a D that always folded in big spots(if you guys wind up making a run w/ them still here i'd change my mind but as of now no for those 2).

My god... do you EVER sing a different song?... Zach and Taylor weren't even the topic of the thread, but with you it's always back to them "folding in big spots".... zzz.... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!
 
No I do not believe they deserve to be retired. Like it has been said this is for great players and neither one fits that title. Good players, but not great.

He can't help it. His team is going to suck so he has to piss on as many threads as possible to make himself feel better.
 
We can't retire every good player that comes through here. Do you think Sam and Pat are on the same level as Csonka, Marino, and Griese?
 
if you retired the numbers of all the good players in the nfl there would be no numbers left.

good, definatly not great enough to have thier numbers retired.
