I would enjoy the dolphins in an uncapped year taking a page out of Al Davis' playbook and keeping Joey Porter around and just letting him waste away on the roster but never seeing the field, just as Al Davis did to Marcus Allen( un justly IMO)

I'd rather just let him play for Al Davis himself. That's a better punishment.

imo we get a trade out of him or put him on the bench and let hin rot because i would not let him go for nothing he was playing hurt and had 9 sacks i think he will atleast be good for 2-3 more seasons so we need to atleast get a 3rd or 4th round pick for him instead of just releasing him to go somewhere else and be productive when healthy so yeah get a draft pick or let him rot on the bench

You don't want him to sit around doing nothing, because the guy will talk, talk, talk, and talk some more. He'll complain about playing time at every chance he'll have, which will end up bringing a distraction on the team, something we really don't want or need at this juncture.

Just cut him and let him go to the Raiders and hang out with Al Davis.

That's punishment enough.

This is EXACTLY why the Raiders are an AWFUL football program. Why ANYONE would want to replicate the actions of that dumpster fire of a program is asinine at best.

Joey Porter has been a bum for years. Cut that goober and be done with it. Put someone in a uniform that MIGHT produce something. I've been over this guy.

Maybe we can give the Raiders a 7th rounder to take Porter. Is that legal?
HAHA, I was just thinking what if we sent Porter and our 7th to the Raiders for their 7th. Yes we take the loss of a pick, but we humiliate Porter by only getting a 7th for him and also having to give up a 7th just to get anything for him. And best of all Porter can finish his career in NFL hell.
